Ugh! How did I forget to take that tour?!?!?
I'm really mad at me.

Is it (the Culinary Tour) still offered for free? I noticed a "for fee" symbol next to it, on our Activities Schedule for our Marathon weekend (2013) stay? We never had time to check it out, but I'm wondering if there is now a fee for this tour? Thanks!
Guilty as charged.franandaj said:Perhaps you were commandoing in the park?
Yes, I did it today. Just show up at the Boma podium at or a little before 4PM. We got a taste of Soup and a ZD, then they took us over to Jiko for a taste of their bread and dip service. Just like everyone has reported. I'm glad I finally got to do it!
Oh, that's terrific! Soup, zebra dome, bread and dip. Heaven!Perhaps you were commandoing in the park?

Since you are staying at Kidani, you and Fran should try the Culinary Tour at Sanaa and, of course, report back.

I can't wait to hear about the night vision tour! Is it a tour or do they just lend out night vision goggles? My DS (7) loves animals and will love this. Are there any other animal experiences/tours at AKL that a 7 year old can participate in? My DH or myself would join him, of course!
The night vision viewing is in an area just past the smaller spa. You stand there and look at the Savana with the goggles. The CMs there are very nice & great to talk with. One was from Ghana, the other from Entebbe. They very very nice.
SWEET! That trumps me having my own private boat on It's A Small World! Guess I'll stop bragging about that...the other two didn't show up, so we had our own private safari!
Hello to all We will be traveling to AKV Kidani Savannah view, staying in a studio. It is for my 36th birthday and it will be my 3yoDD, my husband and me I cannot wait. We will check in on 2/23 & out on 2/25. There is so much info on these threads theand I'm sure the answer I'm looking for is out there, but I'm going crosseyed reading all of this - LOL At any rate, this will be a surprise for my DD and I would like to have the best Savannah view possible. Can anyone suggest what floor and room would be best for this? I would prefer a dedicated/non-connecting studio room; they seem to be quiter Any help here is much appreciated
I think it's 100% right!!!Is it wrong to book both night vision and sunrise?
