I love all these team names, they are so fun and creative!! We've been brainstorming costume ideas and have a few good ones, I'm getting really excited.
I'm trying to figure out if I should rent a car or drive ours, ours is great but Micah needs something to get to and from work and the minivan is such a gas hog. :/ I'm not driving the minivan though, it just isn't worth it without a bigger group to ride with. I looked at the $9.99 deal at Enterprise but it's a limit of 100 miles per day and that's not enough to get and from DL so....

I did, especially after we enjoyed the train ride to Michigan so much. But, then when we get to WA we'd need to rent a minivan and that pretty much negates any savings. Plus the train wasn't cheap.
Driving is definitely the cheapest option. But, it's still expensive, if that makes sense. lol

ETA: Just did another quick check on Amtrak and to go from Los Angeles' Union Station, up to Seattle, would cost us more than it did to travel from here all the way to Michigan last summer. Crazy, huh?!

Beth, if you end up going up the Northern California coast, you have to take your kids to the Monterey Aquarium. That is something else - especially the jelly fish exhibit! I love Santa Cruz too! Fun vibe down there! Then of course you will be up near SF and you could check out The Walt Disney Family Museum.

I would enjoy that. Monterey seems like such a nice place. Carmel, too.

Team 3 finally has a name. We are going to be Fillmore's Groovin' Gals.

Also I found my gift for the exchange, I still don't know what I am going to wear to the meet and greet but at least I got something taken care of for it. Four weeks from tonight and we'll all be there, can't wait to see everyone!!!

Absolutely. In fact the 'slug jug' is not even the main gift for my gift exchange, and my exchange gifts are only slightly 'redneck'. I could not get into the redneck theme.

Good morning, ladies! TGIF!! Super bowl weekend! We aren't really into that here. In fact, Ruben has to work on Sunday. Oh, well. It's overtime which is nice. We need it!
Nothing much going on here. Between Noelle, Hannah and myself all you hear around the house is constant coughing. It's awful. I think I've had about 50 cough drops in the last 3 days! I hope this is gone before the trip!

Speaking of which, it's February 1st. We can now all say we are going to Disneyland this month!!

Your hair and makeup sounds like mine except I think I'm going to wear green eyeshadow. Cliff made me a cornpipe to go with my ensemble...and it actually works . He's also trying to talk me into wearing daisy dukes but I don't think that will happen. However I guess showing some cellulite could be considered redneck .
