Finally caught up! Love the pictures you take (with or without your SLR ) and the photopass ones with your cousin in DHS are priceless. Glad you enjoyed the Creme Cheese Pretzel and the Tonga Toast.
That's what I'm here for!Thanks... I think I'll write that down! I have just never thought of trying for some odd reason.
Yep, I thought the nine pound lemon was just an ordinary lemon that grew to be 9 pounds! We loved the tour. Very interesting! The Behind the Seeds tour actually sounds pretty interesting.... And I'm glad you were able to uncover the nine pound lemon! I had no clue that the nine pounds was part of its name. Learn something new every day...
I agree with you, the Seas pavilion is the best. I think most people who go into the aquarium area don't realize how easy it is to spend half an hour to an hour just staring at all the different sea life.
I know having been the person in the boat, I thought those folks on the tour were all kinds of cool.I think that your land tour sounds like it was fun and informative... and you can't beat the price for a Disney tour... I'll bet those people on the boats riding through thought that you were all kinds of cool...
I love SE... all of that history... I'm totally corny cause it gives me the chills... (ok mini skirt science girl gives me a giggle... but the rest ... AWESOME... and i love the whole sound track...
The Living Seas could give easily take up hours and hours on its own if you really spent time looking at everything... that's why Disney is so special -there are so many details and things to really look at- I don't even know how long it would take you if you did/experienced each and every thing...
We got some good memory pictures together, that's for sure! And I am so happy to have more Disney foods to crave when I'm not there! Finally caught up! Love the pictures you take (with or without your SLR ) and the photopass ones with your cousin in DHS are priceless. Glad you enjoyed the Creme Cheese Pretzel and the Tonga Toast.
The Seeds tour was really interesting! And I am certainly no gardener! I was glad we did it.Blueberry boy - I didn't know he had a name!
Sorry I missed your update last weekend. I am still catching up on updates I missed. Hate that. Glad your bumped up!
So, you are the first DISer I can recall who reviewed the Seeds tour. It really does look like a lot of fun and I am sure a great guide makes it all that much better.
Your pictures in Spaceship Earth are wonderful. Heck - all your pictures are wonderful! What a simply gorgeous day.
I can't blame you one bit for not wanting to wait around for MK. But, hey, there's always Figment!
Hope you back is better.
Any new pictures of Oscar?
Great update!
I have fond memories of those fountains from my first trip. Seeing them again and spending time to watch them made me reminisce!Fantastic update!!!
So sorry to hear you hurt your back protecting that adorable little furball- hope you are feeling better.
I am, thank you!
Hooray on the Soarin' score of prime seats AND useful FPs.
It was a good Soarin' day for sure!
I love Living with the Land, too!!! Thanks for posting the picture of the sign. For some reason, I did not know it was sponsored by Chiquita. The Land is still brought to us by Kraft, right?
Now you've got me thinking, I never really noticed either sponsorship too closely before!
Totally agree about the shortcake! One of Disney's best desserts, up there with creme brulee (anywhere) and 'Ohana's bread pudding.
I could definitely go for that shortcake right about now. Or creme brulee. Never been to 'Ohana!
I appreciate your detailed review of Behind the Seeds. I would love to do that tour someday. An inexpensive tour where you can take pictures??? I'm in!
It was fun, we really did enjoy it. I would recommend it to anyone who asked, that's for sure!
Awesome pictures of the Seas exhibit. I love the ocean and all her creatures, too!!! Kudos on using the term Jellies. My dad was a marine docent and he taught us not to say Starfish or Jellyfish.
Really? I said jellies because that's what Nemo called them, lmao! So what are we supposed to call Starfish? In the aquarium community we generally call them by their species name (i.e. "Brittle star"). Now I'm intrigued!
Off topic- have you ever been to Atlantis? Fantastic aquariums- largest man-made ocean air marine habitat in the world. I can't imagine how gorgeous your photos would be there!!!
I haven't, but it sounds amazing! I would love to see it some day!
Spaceship Earth is in my top five attractions in all of Disney. Great pictures. Thanks for posting the video, but it just isn't quite the same without the burning smell.
You know, I adore SE, so very much and it sort of crept up on me as one of my favourites. I don't give it the credit it's due until I'm on it realizing how much I'm enjoying it.
The jumping water and upside down waterfall are such fun parts of the Imagination Pavilion.

Sea Stars. Yes that makes sense. I will try my best to never make that mistake!Jellies and Sea Stars. Neither are fish.
Between my dad and a very good friend who worked at the New England Aquarium, I been indoctrinated into the proper terminology!
When we came out it was dark and Future World was emptying of guests heading over to the lagoon to watch the fireworks. We took some night pictures of the fountains.
So yeah the ride is ok but if you asked me to explain to someone who had never done it why I didn't like it, I would say it would be like being around a person who is mildly funny, often annoying, who has a cute dog, but smells awful.
We walked slowly back to our room, completely exhausted. But we did have a nice surprise waiting for us:
We did, we enjoyed our meal despite the negatives. It's just a fun place to eat! I recommend it!I forgot to comment on your meal! I have never been to the Biergarten. Sorry that you had slow service, no sausage and non-responsive table mates. Glad you had a nice meal anyway!
Thanks!!Really enjoying your TR!!!! Your photos are amazing!
I always recommend eating at the Biergarten! I love it there and despite the waiter being really slow we really enjoyed our mealI've never actually eaten at Biergarten, but I did have a fun evening hanging out with friends there once. The atmosphere is so much fun, and your desserts looked yummy! Too bad about the waiting and bad service though.
Lovely photos, as usual...I look forward to the eye candy you always provide!
Awww how nice about the couple on their anniversary vacation! That's so sweet. We ate here on our honeymoon and met the nicest couple, they were there for their anniversary. She said that they couldn't go on a honeymoon and he promised her a vacation every year, and it was like 40 years and he had kept his promise. They were from near us, and we talked a lot through our meal. Of course, we had a family of 4 but they didn't want to be with other people so after a few glares of the rest of us talking they actually got up and walked out. Whatever, their loss! Sitting with other people can be a risk, on our honeymoon we had nothing but good luck. On our trip this past October it was a DISASTER.
My son was terrified on "the bad Figment ride", as in full tears before we stopped. He was begging me to never make him go back on there. Of course, then he became obsessed with Figment himself and ended up with a stuffed one for Xmas.
I LOVE the towels!!!
Dirty girl!!YUp when you said "sausage fest" my mind totally went there and eventhough I think figment is the bees knees,I love your description of him I lol'd for real!!! Wendy you are too cute!!!
They were a little busy, but our waiter was also incredibly slow, way worse than any other we saw. Oh well, there are worse things I guess! We did have a nice time.Sorry to your dinner didn't go so well. Sounds like they were too busy and the wait staff had too many tables to try and serve. Still, no drink refills the entire meal? Yikes.
I also had no idea you shared a table with other guests. Had to be a little weird to try and talk with your DH about dinner and your trip, knowing other people could listen in.
Those fountains look really awesome at night!
Sorry i missed this update when it came out. I think your fountain pictures are outstanding. I am so jealous! I want to take night pictures like that.
My brother requested Biergarten for June so the ADR is made. Atleast with eight of us we won't have any non-talkative table mates. Who needs that.
The desserts - OMG - they look amazing!
