I foresee a future DIS CL lush meet someday!

It will be our first time at a Disney CL too. I'm thinking of upgrading to WL CL as a surprise for my mom and sister. The whole trip is a surprise for my mom to go down and see my daughter march with her HS band down Main St. I really want to make the trip special for my mom, and I think CL would help in that. Unfortunately, due to medication she can't drink, so more wine and mimosas for my sister and me!

WL CL is amazing! :cloud9:

thanks everyone for the information.

I did email the CL yesterday and let them know the ADR changes I made.

I was going to go ahead and do the online check in, but it won't let you without tying a credit card to the account. I've never had to tie one before, and prefer not to. So I guess we'll wait and do check in when we are there. My family traveling with us do not have a cc and I had planned on getting them a gift card to use/spend while they are there.

In celebration of making my last mortgage payment :cool1: and using my sister's recent bounceback offer, we are booked at the GF Club Level - main building in October. I am beyond excited! Does anyone have any reviews or suggestions they could share?

WE love love LOVE GF CL Main Bldg. Can't stay anymore cuz we are too big a family. I requested a MK view. We were all the way at then end of the hallway and from our balcony could see most of the fireworks. They don't say it's MK view, but they will know what you mean. If you like I could find what room number we were in. We stayed in the same room both times. It is also on the same room as the lounge. We had an absolute wonderful stay both times and wish the same for you. OHHHH, and congrats on your accomplishment. :goodvibes

You will have a great stay as RPC is amazing :goodvibes. The lounge is spacious with alot of seating, the food offerings are great, and the views are awesome. One of my favorite things to do is head to the lounge early in the morning and have my coffee while looking out at the courtyard pool watching the resort "wake up" :cloud9:. It's also great in the evening sitting in the lounge listening to the band play. Also, the CMs are top notch, IMO, and are always willing to help with anything you need. Have a great trip and congrats on making your last mortgage payment :thumbsup2.

That's been our experience during all our stays at different CLs, as well. Different daily menu, but it repeated the following week.

Does anyone know the beer selection for the Yacht Club CL lounge? Thanks in advance.

Also how bout wine selection?

I don't make it over here very often :-)wave2: Scott)

But I saw these questions, so I thought this link to pictures taken by StephH in December 2012 would help.

Some good news and bad news- she has a picture of the wine listing, but I didn't see anything about the beer.

Since these pictures are part of a Flickr account, I haven't been able to copy them off

StephH, December 2012:
YC lounge

Wines:

Columbia Crest "Two Vines" Chardonnay
Beringer White Zinfandel
Mirassou Pinot Noir
Perfolds Rawson's Retreat Merlot

BTW- there is some awesome looking food porn from the YC lounge in there!!! She even has the dates she took most of the pictures.

At all CL, cheese trays are offered every day, witha varying selection of cheeses and starches. (i.e. crackers) Otherwise I agree with the other posters, menus rotate/repeat on a weekly basis. Sometimes if an item runs our early they will substitute another item- like if a dumpling runs out they will replenish it with a different kind of dumpling. It also seems to me some cheeses change day to day, while others get repeated more often- like cheddar is pretty popular. And at most club levels the veggies offered alongside the dips stay the same.

So It's hardto say which category brie might fall into. If it's a cheese, you may get lucky and see it more than once. If it's a 'hot' item, it may only be offered once a week. If it was a replacement item, it may not happen at all. (though that's least likely)

It is also true that many - though not all - of the items offered on club level are also offered at another restaurant in the same hotel (in that sense, BC and YC are considered one hotel). If it's brie you seek, you might find it offered at one of the restaurants. Try emailing the IPO to see when/where brie is offered.

As for beer- I've not stayed at YC, but at BC- I think the beers offered include Bud, Bud light, Yuengling(?), and Sam Adams. As I said above, when it comes to food, the two resorts are one. When it comes to beer...the same policy as above holds true: if something runs out, they will sometimes sub something similar. Since the theme of YC is "New England Coastal", you can expect the beers to be American. Disney has a solid history with Sam Adams.(they have a big booth at F&W.) I'm fairly confident that the beer at YC is the same as BC (those same beers are the ones they have at many of the CL - all the resorts with an American theme. To my recollection, the ones that differ are AKL and Poly. AKL has Safari Amber, as in AK.)

I usually drink Reisling or Pinot Grigio

Guess I'll have to suck it up and drink the white zin ::yes::

Hi - have a question regarding the IPO. I had requested to have some reservations for golf and cabana rental at the Poly. I am 90 days out today from the date of the actual tee time/ cabana rental (less from my actual arrival date). I have not had any confirmation sent to me. Should I email them to make sure all is ok? Or is it normal that I haven't heard yet. First time I am having IPO do any reservations for me.

Question for those of you who have stayed club level. Did you find the need to purchase the refillable mugs? Or because of the provided the drinks, they really aren't a useful purchase?

IMHO, they aren't really necessary if you are staying CL.

Thanks much for the info.

I dont drink coffee like the rest of the world, but I do drink tea to get my caffeine fix in the a.m., now at times I have found this to be a mysterious substance to some when I travel south.

So my question is, is tea or hot water readily available at Poly club level??

Cheers, Todd
