My family are not professional football fans, so we are visiting Animal Kingdom on Sunday. I made an ADR at Yak & Yeti, and it will be our first visit! I will remember to take pictures each time we get food!

She said, "Today we went to Epcot and had lunch at...

Sunshine Seasons

"DH had the porkchop with mashed potatoes and chocolate cake for dessert. He loved the porkchop. It was huge! He said it was very flavorful. The cake was good, but super rich! I had a ceasar salad with chicken and banana cake for dessert. The chicken in the salad tasted a little dry and the banana cake was excellent!"

"We stopped at the new patisserie in France and it was good, but a little disorganized. Not sure where to go and who was being helped already. I got a Napoleon because I have liked them in France before, but this one wasn't good at all. I was disappointed and only ate a few bites. So of course I had to get something from Karamel Kuche in Germany!"

"I got the Peanut butter caramel crunch cookie. I wasn't doing well with snacks today because this one wasn't very good either. The peanut butter taste was weird, so again only ate part of it."

Captain Cook's

She said, "Dinner was at Captain Cook's again. DH had pepperoni flat bread and an apple turnover for dessert. I had the turkey club with chips and a Mickey ice cream sandwich. DH said nothing special about the pepperoni pizza, but he did say that the apple turnover was really good, but he wished that it was warm. My turkey club was pretty good and the chips were nice. Of course the Mickey ice cream gets 2 thumbs up!" ​

Loved seeing the pictures from the Fantasy. The concierge offerings look amazing. I would love to be on that ship one day.

No complaining from me though- my bags are packed, boarding pass is printed and I'm ready to go. With any luck, I'll be at raglan road later tonight!!

I am SOOO sad that the napoleon has changed. That was my favorite pasty from Boulangerie. Yet another Disney great that must be mourned over..... wahhhhh.......

Our First Update of the Day today will sadly be our last from hulagirl87, as her trip ended today.




She and her family had breakfast this morning at...

"My first plate...the granola was great!"

"DH's plate...breakfast pizza got a "good"!"

"DD got fruit loops! Score!"




"While the food was good, the restaurant itself was too crowded and they weren't replenishing the food very quickly. They were out of Mickey waffles each time I went up. Someone asked about them and they said they would be right out, but after a few minutes, nothing. The silverware was really dirty too. Not sure what was up with that. But Carys loved meeting the characters so it was all worth it!"

"I also took pictures of 2 menus at Magic Kingdom... Sleepy Hollow and Lunching Pad."

"We stopped at the Main Street Confectionary and used the last of our snack credits. We got a heart shaped cookie which DD loves, and then got some maple nut fudge to bring home for my mom and a piece of English toffee."

"Here's a few MK pictures too."

"Here's one showing the crowds as we were leaving. They were pouring in! Saw a lot of dance teams."

"Oh, and they put in some of the My Magic things and it looks like some people were trying it out today."

"Ok, that's it from me! I loved doing this!" ​

Chef Mickey's

"First Plate: Cheesy potatoes, croissant, bacon, hash brown patty, vegetable quiche, scrambled eggs. Both egg dishes were stone cold and nasty. Croissant was rock hard. Potato patty was cold, undercooked, and hard. Cheese potato casserole was the only edible thing on the plate but was barely warm. It would have been much better hot."


Tricia also said, "It was as dirty as usual, gross floor! Server was prompt and polite but nothing more."




"Overall, I still rate Chef Mickey's as the worst, most over-rated restaurant on property. I paid over $30 to eat about six bites of food. I considered asking for a refund, but in the end I let it go. I'm very glad I don't have to come back anytime in the distant future."​
