OMG...We Walked from rope drop to this new attraction.
When we got to Journey of the Little Mermaid - or whatever it is called...
We had to walk another 1/4 of a mile through EMPTY Quere's to get to the Clam Shells.....The Quere's cannot be moved!!!

What is up with that?
In Universal the Queres's were "Mobile"...No need to walk through hundreds of feet of empty Q's....

I love Disney....BUT - I really think Universal is kicking their A ss and they are now the better company.

I love the queue line its fun and if you have children it gives them something to do. The Disney queues are the best.

First of all, there are tons of queues in Universal that have you walk through a bunch of empty rooms and empty queue space before you get to the load platform.

Secondly, when you're at a theme park during a peak time, you'll appreciate all the details and things to look at in a queue as well done as Mermaid's. The crab game is a great time-waster.

Finally, I'm so glad you base whether The Walt Disney Company or Universal Studios is "the better company" on their queues. That shocks me. I can think of at least a dozen better ways to judge the two companies.

Yes, because a queue of bland, reconfigurable stanchions and switchbacks is much better than the queue at LM. Disney took the easy way out.

When I last went to both parks (8 years ago), I will admit that I liked the water misting that was at US that didn't seem to be at some ques in Disney. Though, that was the only thing. I loved how many of the Disney ques had something visual to look at.

There is a ton of technology built into that queue. Sorry you didn't enjoy the walk. Maybe next time you will get to linger and play with the crabs. They are awesome.

LM = Little Mermaid. The attraction that you're complaining about.

You know...it just occurred to me....your freaking avatar is a troll :rotfl: Way to live up to it....

By the way, I'm guessing you never walked the queue at Dragon Challenge in WWoHP--that thing goes on for miles.

Dragon Challenge was closed this week...

But - Harry Potter was open...
And - We did Not have to walk the entire Q'S...

How is it that someone who is SO upset about the queues at WDW, and feels that the queues at UOA are so superior that they feel compelled to write a critical post about these queues, and still manages to misspell the word every. single. time??? And doesn't even know (or bother to find out) the name of the ride that he/she is criticising?? Granted, it's late, but my mind is officially boggled. :confused3:confused3

Gotta agree about DC's line, and I absolutely adore Universal. But that line is just WAY too long (when you aren't there during a busy time), and WAY too dark. A whole unrelated group of us went the completely wrong way at a spot where there were two directions to go, and had to turn around and go back.

Actually, going through a line when there's no one else there *always* feels like the queue is long and ridiculous. It's once you slow down that it feels different.

This is what.the 3rd, *I don't like the new Fantasyland post?...........Do you work for Universal?...........and this one is really scrapping the bottom of the barrel to complain about.!:rotfl2:

Sheesh, people are never happy about queues regardless.. Too many people in line, too long of a queue. Lines are lines are lines. You're at an amusement park- you know what you're getting into. LM has a very cool, well thought-out queue in my opinion. Is it long? Yeah. But that's because the Imagineers know what they're doing in terms of making attractions.

Also, for the record, Universal has most certainly not got Disney beat, in any respect.
