That's exactly my experience as well. All my bus nightmares have been around that time frame. I guess this is when the transportation system is so stretched because everyone is travelling at the same time.

I find service can be slow at park open/close times. And that means any park... if they have to pull extra busses @ 5p for AK closing, that is fewer for other resorts/parks.

I also think mid-day when people have gotten where they are going they are going for the daytime hours they scale back the # of busses. If you only have a handful of people traveling in a given hour, you don't need as many busses but the wait between gets longer. I can't tell you how many times we've been the only 2 people on a bus during those lull times of day.

Now that I think about it, every long wait was either in that 9-10 am time frame or at park close. ::yes::

The hour long one was the worst, but that is definitely NOT the norm. We just had an unlucky moment. We also had MANY Magical moments of walking up just as the bus we needed pulled up. I think we only tend to report the bad stuff not the good stuff.

Don't worry, just relax and enjoy... I think it all evens out in the end. pixiedust:

Phew! That does make me feel better. We leave tomorrow - Yippee!! I told my DD10 last night at bedtime that while she's saying her prayers she can add an extra little request for us to get a suprise Savanah View. She said "Savannah (her friend) is going??!!" :rolleyes1

Seeing all of the posts about CL is making me want to stay there. Didn't really know about it until I started reading about it here on this thread! We're booked for a 2 bedroom suite and now I wish I would have gotten 2 studios CL! Oh well, maybe next time :)

Well this morning I was the Royal Pacific at Universal. If you've ever read any of my TRs, you'll know what Fran likes to do to excess and how we always run late everywhere. I am finally at Kidani with roast in oven and about 20-30 minutes away from dinner!

How awesome is that... Hope you are having an amazing time.

Just posted this on the oldies thread, but I thought I'd post here, too - since I promised AKL and ZD pics:

UGH... DH was trying to help me pull my Disney pictures and videos from my iPhone. He ran the "upgrade" and it sent my phone into recovery mode.
I lost everything.
All my Disney pictures,
All the videos of my kid playing with his jazz band
All the videos of the other kid ice skating in the Nutcracker
My mom's birthday pictures...
I feel SICK. Now the phone won't even turn on. I'm going to take it to the Apple store tomorrow and hope for a miracle.

Too sad to even post a crying smilie.

....but WAIT! First day at Kidani....and......you're......COOKING??!?!?!?!?

Tomorrow we are going to Sanaa, but why stay in a 1 bedroom villa, have a full kitchen and run around trying to meet ADRs? You missed the whole "Prime Rib" obsession. It's so much of an ordeal for us to GET anywhere that the first night is great to chill in the room with a bottle of wine and big chunk of meat! :thumbsup2 BTW it was awesome and will morph into four more dinners over the next week+. That's the beauty of a DVC villa, you can enjoy your own home cooking while watching the animals on the savannah. For me that is much more relaxing than going out somewhere and stressing! :thumbsup2

Sounds heavenly! :cloud9:
If only I could cook...
