Yes please to the Dessert drink!! Yumm. It's official, Sanaa is on my list for my 2014 trip!

And it looks to me like concierge is the way to go on the cruise ship!! WOOHOO! That seems like a better use of dollars than at the hotels, where I'm mostly at the parks. Hmm....

Best vacation ever! Thanks barb for posting my pics. I'm doing a trip report even I return. This has been a dream vacation & I can't thank my concierge team of kemisha, Alice & Julia enough. They have gone above and beyond to ensure that this trip is as relaxing as possible.

I don't want this trip to end.

Tricia said, "I have to preface this review by saying I don't like the place. I have tried it several times. Lunch was no better. Our server was Eric and he was very annoying. He even hovered over me at the end to see if I would give an extra tip."

Bisque de Homard - Lobster bisque

Soupe a l' oignon gratinee - Onion soup topped with Gruyere cheese

"Mom and I shared the onion soup and the lobster bisque. The bisque was too salty and had almost no lobster. The onion soup was better but would have been tastier with beef broth."

Croque monsieur et sa salade verte - Classic French toasted ham and cheese sandwich with a green salad

"We also shared the croquet monsieur. It was dry and not very flavorful."

"Logan had macaroni and cheese. The flavor was okay but the pasta was undercooked. Mom and Logan shared the profiteroles. They thought they were tasty."

"I really only booked this meal for this guy and wouldn't return anytime soon if ever."​

Has anyone had the croquet monsieur from both Be Our Guest and Les Chefs? Or the onion soup? I was wondering how they compare.

I'm sorry your meal wasn't that great. I don't like hovering, either.

The Sanaa review sounds wonderful -- and now even MORE of a reason to stay 1 night at AKL.

Those pictures Emmebear sent in from the Fantasy...OMG!! The concierge offerings look great -- that private lounge area for concierge guests is such a nice touch.

Then this morning Tricia (tallen429) sent an update from their breakfast today at...

"My first plate: corned beef hash, potato casserole, frittata, scrambled eggs, butter croissant, and bacon."


"I didn't love the hash. Everything else was very good, and it was actually hot!"

"Logan's plate: smoked salmon, sausage, bacon, western breakfast pizza, and hard boiled egg."

"My second plate: Pooh's puffed French toast, breakfast lasagna, and Mickey waffle."


"I'm not a sweets eater in general, but I can't resist a taste of these!"

And then tonight Tricia sent a pic of a snack they got before Illuminations from Epcot's...

Has anyone had the croquet monsieur from both Be Our Guest and Les Chefs? Or the onion soup? I was wondering how they compare.

I'm sorry your meal wasn't that great. I don't like hovering, either.

I've had the onion soup from both, and bog was much better. I've has the croque Monsieur from les chefs and not been overly impressed, but haven't tried it from bog.

"The conch soup was pretty ick. Tasted like melted nacho cheese and tiny bits of conch. The dumplings tasted like 'Ohana's. Pretty good."

"The crab cake had lots of crab meat and little filler. It was good."

"This was not good. Totally not creamy and the scallops were mushy. But the shrimp was decent."

Good morning!

Let's go back to Disney World now and check in with hulagirl87.


She said, "We went to Magic Kingdom today and this morning saw Anastasia and Drizella riding the carousel. It cracked me up so I attached those pics, plus Carys got to meet her favorite characters, Marie and Merida, so it made for a great day!"

"DH wasn't feeling well today so he stayed in the room this morning and I took Carys to MK myself. For lunch we went to..."


Pecos Bill's

"Pecos Bill"s is another that I have never been to. I had the veggie burger and then used the toppings bar and got some mushrooms to put on it. I had an iced mocha as well and that was great! The veggie burger itself seemed a little dry."

"For a snack I got a cookie at the Main Street Confectionary. It was so good! And they gave Carys a bag of cotton candy for free saying that they had made some of the bags too small! That was nice!"

"DH had a chicken sandwich which he liked, but nothing exciting. He got a massive brownie for dessert which he put in a to go container and it's sitting right here so I can't report on that yet! I got a chicken caesar salad and that was good! The crunchy things on top were a little too crunchy though so I pulled those off. Dessert was a Mickey ice cream sandwich and I think that's my new favorite treat! I wish I had discovered those earlier in the trip!"

And sadly we received the final update from Li Li and Nigel last night, as they are on an 8:00 a.m. plane home this morning.



But their last update was a great one from their dinner last night at Epcot's...

They started with these cocktails...

Sochu on the rocks & Green Tea Martini

Li Li said, "The martini tasted fine despite the weirdest green color I have ever seen in a drink! Honestly though, I wouldn't get it again. Nigel liked the Sochu. He called it a cross between vodka and scotch."

"These were both excellent! We really enjoyed the meal! Plus we were seated right away despite the crowds at Epcot."

"We also received a surprise anniversary dessert with origami rings! Aren't the awesome?!?! We wore them around Epcot. Unfortunately, I have no idea what this dessert was! It reminded me of a Napoleon."





"In all honesty, we also stopped for a chocolate mousse at Les Halles but forgot to take a pic. But the new bakery is really cool! We ended our night at Epcot with Bass Ale from the Rose & Crown."
