So excited just booked two night at the YC it will be Me, DH, DD (12), DD( 9)(first time staying). We have the lagoon or pool view club level :cool1: We are going to Epcot on the first day and then enjoying the resort the second day. Do anyone have any suggestions or advice for our day of relaxation at the YC. Thanks

Spending the day at SAB will be a great way to relax!!! Maybe end the day at Cape May or Yachtsman, then a movie on the beach.

You will love staying there, the location is perfect for EPCOT!!!

I agree with the pp.....spend the day at the pool and end with a nice dinner. We love both Cape May and Yachtsman, so you can't go wrong with either one, IMO. Have a great trip :goodvibes.

sab, beaches and cream for lunch, then head over to the boardwalk side at night for kouzzina and play some games and watch the performers. go to the sweet shop for dessert.

Wow great ideas......now really excited. I think we made a great choice. The pool looks awesome.

I totally agree with other post stating SAB is an awesome way to spend the day, it is awesome, it's so relaxing to float along the lazy river! Have a drink at Hurricane Hanna's, the new bar seating area looks awesome. Have lunch or ice cream at Beaches & Cream. Dinner at Yachtman Steakhouse is a favorite of DH & I, and while I'm not a seafood lover, DH loves Cape May seafood buffet (& there's plenty of options for me). Movies on the beach, a nice stroll to the activities on the Boardwalk, or an evening swim at SAB is a great way to spend evening! Our evening SAB swims were great as we could see the higher fireworks from the pool. pixiedust: You can't go wrong at YC :sail:!!!

When we stay at YC/BC, we tend to do a DHS morning, come back to the resort for few hours to relax (SAB) and do evening at epcot.

elaw: Don't you just love evenings at EPCOT!!

OP, I hope you have park hoppers?? If so, you can spend each morning where ever you choose, then after a nice SAB break in the day plan your ADR's around EPCOT each evening.

You bet!!!:thumbsup2 ... especially the world showcase at dusk

Wow, I originally read this as "especially the world showcase drunk." Yeah...although I'm sure that there are many who enjoy the world showcase that way!

I agree with everyone else...sleep in, head to SAB, do lunch AND ice cream at Beaches & Cream (because...why not??). Take a stroll on the Boardwalk in the afteroon. Have dinner at Cape May. Head to Epcot for Illuminations. That's a perfect day.

Your kids are great ages to enjoy the YC and Stormalong Bay!!!

Every evening, there is a campfire and a movie on the beach, so that is another thing to consider doing on your resort day.

Stayed there two years ago. In my opinion it is the best resort on property Your idea of Epcot and a resort day is the way to go. I have to agree on hanging out at SAB maybe hit beaches and cream then a game of checkers in the lobby. Don't forget movies on the beach and walking the boardwalk.
