Interesting that a lot of the things they mention are just ads for what's available all the time - spa services, flowers, weddings...

This does sound like the most effort they've put into anything so far, though. I met Flynn at MVMCP so I'm not itching to do that. But I'm really excited about Mary Poppins and Bert! The carriage photo sounds interesting too.

yes Mary Poppins and Bert nice IF I were in charge I.d arrange appearances by Dick Van Dyke and oh my gooness which actress senior moment
:rotfl: if she's still around now that would be amazing !

and why oh why with all the animals meet & greets have we never had Lady & The Tramp ?
A real classic love story...but the whole week sounds really nice good photo ops :-)

Yeah, it always bothers me that we see so little of the princes in the parks. I mean, aren't the couples supposed to be living happily ever after together?

I agree. I guess it makes sense, though, since the princesses are the *main* character of the film. I selfishly want to have princes M&Gs, though! With their prospective princess counterpart of course!

If I could meet Dick Van Dyke AND Julie Andrews - especially together - I think I'd die of excitement!! :hyper:

Does this mean that there are no events scheduled for this coming week? I keep waiting for an update, but it seems like they would have announced by now.... maybe I missed it??

If Dick Van Dyke ever did CP at Epcot, I'd be booking the dinner package ASAP and hightailing it over there. That would be nothing short of fantastic!

Does anyone have the calendar for the next few weeks?

unfortunately no one does official announcement by Disney Co is eek to week posted on Fridays ( few exceptions 4th of July & Villians party DHSfri 13 th of Sept)

Yay!! I'm there for a good Magic week!!!! :yay:

Unfortunately my fiancé is one of the least romantic men on the planet (very loving, just doesn't 'get' romance!) so a lot of it will be wasted on us - but at least I can enjoy everyone else's love!!!

But I don't see anything for this coming week.... starting for Friday 2/1. Seems it would've been announced last Friday, right? Am I wrong?

I agree some of the stuff is already available but the first half of the list is special stuff which I think sounds great! We will be there on Valentine's Day this year in Magic Kingdom so I was really hoping they would have stuff like this in the parks :) I LOVE the carriage and photo spots for Valentine's Day! And look forward to seeing the parks decorated :)

So, we arrive on Feb 16th late at night to our hotel. We planned for the 17th to be a Grocery (for us going to places like Target is part of our vacations - not that we don't have super markets in Argentina, but we love that place), shopping and DTD, more of a relaxed day...

I would be tempted to hit a park that same day, moreover thinking that this will be THE special week of the month. So I'm almost sure that for the 2 following weeks we'll be there, we are gonna get some crappy, run of the mill limited time magic.

We'll see...

Agreed. Anyone know what is going on Feb 1 through the week of love?

The Limited Time Magic Weeks seem to run Monday to Sunday. They let you know the theme the Friday before.

So this Friday (2/1) they will announce what is happening Monday (2/4) through Sunday (2/10). :)
