CAn anyone tell me where I should look on a park map to see the trick or treat and craft area? I looked at there site but couldn't find anything.

Also, would an hour be enough time to do some treating and other activities they have along the path?
Thanks!

I would plan for more than an hour. Basically the back path to Bayside stadium over to Happy Harbor has trick or treat locations. There can be lines to wait in for candy. There is usually a dance party and sand art activity at Bayside. The art projects usually have a fee.

Thanks! So as you enter you go right , follow he path past the wild arctic to happy harbor correct?
Hm. Any idea how much the activities may be?

Don't go across the bridge to Wild Arctic. You make a right at the baby dolphins. The trick or treat path opens about noon. The sand art was 9.00, cookie art was 5.00 I think.

Thanks so much!
Did you happen to do the elmo show or bfast at all? I can't find many reviews on either of them!

we did the spooktacular in 2011. It was the day before Halloween I believe. It was awful. The kids wanted to get candy first..We waiting in one candy line for almost 30 minutes and all they had when we got to the front was broken lollipops. It was crazy... there were adults pushing kids, people with 3 or 4 huge bags of candy.. we couldnt even get near the cookies or the crafts... the only halloween thing we did was the elmo show. We didnt even get to see any other shows because they were all filled to capacity over an hour before showtime...we ended up leaving early because the kids we overwhelmed with the crowd. We did end up coming back ( they had the 2nd day free) a few days later (and got to see all shows)

Would definitely say go as soon as it starts. The closer to Halloween and it will be like the pp mentioned. Just like with Disney and MNSSH party.

We live close enough that we are able to go to Spooktacular a couple of times each year. If you wait until the last weekend it will be packed & too busy to be really fun. If you are able to go a few weeks earlier, it is SO FUN and will be the highlight of your October! :) Really cute theming, not at all scary, and plenty of candy for your kids. An hour is not enough. We have not been to the Elmo breakfast, but we've seen the Sesame show at Halloween (Cute!!) and been to the Sesame meal at Busch Gardens -- fun as long as your kids are into the characters. :)

Oh yes. We would be there beginning of october. Go to the park first thing and be at the trick or treating as it opens. :) when hey offer the Elmo show do they cancel another one? Amy idea how often in the day they offer it?
