Good evening ladies! DH is in bed again early tonight and the kids are entertaining themselves until bedtime so I figured I would give my RC family a visit

Janet - yes, time does fly for sure I remember beings scared, young and away from my family when I had DS, I remember holding him for the first time in the NICU. So much has changed since that day but all for the best! It is so hard to believe that he has been in my life for 20 years already!

Dani - OMG about the bra comment, especially since I had to go buy new bras today since mine were falling apart I learned a long time ago that you never know what a person has going on behind closed doors and you can never judge because you just don't know. DS9 actually has to write a paper this weekend about characteristics of a good friend, and we were talking this morning how important it is to have a friend that is there for you no matter what, happy times and sad times. As far the abuse, I had the opportunity after I got out of my abusive relationship I was asked into the high school to talk to a group of girls and let them know that it happens even as teens. I think it is such a taboo thing to discuss, but these girls need to know they are important and can get out

Miss - he was up at 3am from so he came home ate dinner and passed out, I know he doesn't feel well, but i also think a lot of it is stress. Better this week then when we are at Disney!!! I was so sick when we were there in Dec but trucked through it, but we all know how men are when they are sick I was also thinking that we hadn't heard from Linda, a tracking device sounds like a good idea Although KOOK is trying to convince us that Linda is really homeless and not just on vacations

Wookie - oh I don't blame you for being furious with the whole DH and IL's possibly going to WDW! I hope you dont fight too much about it and can get your school work done. Hang in there

Lacey - I want to say when we were at CR in Dec it was already the sheet duvet system, but maybe I am confusing it with YC. I know its not real down though because I have called and asked as I am allergic to down and was assured it wasn't and didn't wake up itchy at all

Marie - sounds like non-CL may be a great option for DL

Dani and Christine: we can get excited about cruises together! Ours is only a three night but is on Nov 21. I am super pumped!!

Melissa: When we got home from the funeral, he thanked my parents for getting the girls, walked upstairs, and slept for 3 hours. When I tell him I was feeling the way he is two days ago he says "NO WAY you were not feeling this bad".

"Ummmm yes I was, I just kept going!!!" like a lunatic. I don't know why we moms can't just go and lie down without major guilt. They have no problem! And what I can't figure out is why the kids actually leave him alone! When I try to sleep they are all over me. ..

And then I get my mom on the phone telling me I need to be more sympathetic for him. What the??? I guess you hit on a sore spot!

I was laughing that you came back to say you really do love him after this post I know you do, they just get under our skin sometimes! We are just super moms that can handle anything.....can you imagine if men had to give birth

I use the term "down" generically. I just much prefer the sheet duvet system to the old bedspreads! I want to stay at the Poly but not until the rooms are refurbed. But maybe the CR should be in the mix! Right now airfare is too high for me to book but still weighing my options!

Wow, just reading up on the all-day menu changes at Le Cellier. Guess we were lucky to go when we did -- they took the burger off the menu.

I so agree. The waitress told us New Years Eve day that that was the last burger we'd be eating there due to the impending menu changes. And that burger was the best, too! DH usually gets the steak and he had it 1st time and loved it too. I will miss the old menu.

I have to start doing some serious research BWI would be the better choice for F&W but he agreed to stay at the Poly which might not happen again. I am so confused, maybe a split stay?

Excited for you for another BWI and Bob-surprise Poly possibility, too.

I'm hoping they are just "talking" about it. I know they are hiding it because they know I'll be mad about it and I've already told them and the DH he can't go to any conferences at WDW if I can't go. The DH came into our room and asked me why I was mad at him while I was doing school work. When I told him, he said, "well it's not like we're going to Disney World." I said, "I'm going to let you get away with saying something stupid like that, and me not throw the closest thing I can get into my hand just this once. The conference is at Coronado Springs, which is on Disney World property. Technically you are going to Disney World." I swear he was acting like someone who knew nothing about Disney World and thought the Magic Kingdom was all there is to Disney World.

Hi, RC family! I'm sorry I have been MIA for such a long time....I do try to read, but then get to missing Sarah and leave without posting.

I know there have been some very sad family times - my heart and prayer are with you, even if I am not here posting.

Some NKOTB fans here! When my kids were young we lived down the street from Donnie & Mark (of course Mark had his own music career) - the family was well known ... Every girl near and far thought he looked like Donnie - a mother's worst nightmare at that age! They were a typical large family in our neighborhood. LOTS of kiddos!!

I'm glad Donnie and Mark both turned out to be very good actors, so we still get to see them! I'm a fan of Blueboods too...only because of Donnie!

Yes to the Cruise! It is definitely the last thing I ever expected to ever consider doing - given my horrible fear of heights and water! AND I do not swim - almost drowned at River Country back in the 80's; it was not a pretty site, but a very funny story the kids told over and over....and over!

When Dis friends said they really wanted me to go and it isn't until Feb 2014, I decided it was time to step waaay out of my comfort zone and have a new adventure. Fingers crossed the MS will not mean I am more sensitive to motion, but think it will be okay. It is a quiet time for a cruise weather wise and I have read that any light motion on the Dream feels more like a train and I love long distance train rides.

That's the latest in my world...oh, except that next week Sophia (& mom and dad) will spend 2 ngts in a LM room and a day a the MK, including CRT breakfast! Very exciting! I will be here with Rosie our furbaby...I told DD that I had better see LOTS of text pics!!!

I think the cruise will be a true adventure!!!! But a deluxe adventure!!! and I can't wait to hear about Sophia's first trip!!!

Okay, I am catching up!!!! DH is up in bed not feeling well he actually went to the Urgent Care for a flu swab, which was negative thankfully! So I am taking the evening to watch tv and catch up with my RC family

I got the call from guest services today. Yes I was right(I knew that). Yes they made a mistake, and they need education(I knew that). Yes they realize there is a lack of consistency with cm's. The issue has been addressed with the higher ups, so yes you can make changes to a existing reservation. They were all apparently taken by surprise that the discount was discontinued. They did resolve the issue by offering me a very sweet deal in September so all is good. I hope my bad temper helped other people booked with the discount. The discounts came out July of 2012 so I am sure I am not the only one with a booking this year.

Hi ladies. It's been a busy day. Thursdays usually are for me. I work until 7:30 and when I get home the kids want all of my attention so I don't get to do anything online until super late. I will be burning the midnight oil to send out some quotes tonight. Business seems to be picking up for me!

Tonight I got some more details on my cousin and it just made me break down at my desk in tears. I don't like to cry, especially in public. But my coworkers were so sweet and comforting. I'm lucky to be in such a great office. I am so saddened by my cousin's death. It isn't that we were particularly close. In fact I think we met maybe three times in total. It's just the nature of how it happened. This is something I don't often talk about, but I was in an abusive relationship with Danimal's "father" and I just keep thinking that it so easily could have been me. I also think how horrible it is for my uncle to be dealing with this. No parent should have to bury their child. As a parent it is my greatest fear. I've been hugging my babies extra close this week. Sorry to be such a downer this week. Thanks for puttin up with me.

I am glad you were able to break free from your own abusive relationship, my eldest boys father was abusive too having him arrested and breaking off with him for the sake of my son was one of the best moves I ever made. I know you had an emotional breakdown since you are so right , that it could have been you. Take care my dear friend and know I am here if you ever need to talk.

My intention was to do GF...then going with my "budget theme" I chose YC...then in looking at the fact I could get the snack room for almost the same price as GF That darn snack room!!! So I have planned one 8 hrs shift a week to pay for vacation!!! Still need to super duper budget, but it will be worth it

If I take Sophia in August we might have to stay at POP - I don't sworn, or get a near a pool and she loves going in the water. I don't know of a deluxe or even mod with a kids play area like POP with the water jets...hope you'll tell me I am wrong! I haven't been alone with a little one since 1988!! All my other trips with little ones had people who could go in the pool with them. I would hate to disappoint Sophia. They are at the beach today..near Melbourne...tomorrow WDW!!
