Kona is my favorite breakfast at Disney. Perhaps in the whole world. But it is not the Tonga Toast that does it for me.
The Macadamia Freakin' Pineapple Pancakes are what rock my world. Although others in my family get the Tonga Toast, so I get to sample that too.
I'm pretty sure that the tonga toast will be a must do for us now too!Kona is my favorite place for breakfast in all of Disney World...just thinking about Tonga Toast and macadamia nut pancakes makes my mouth water. It's a must on every trip...Yumm-o!
Love the photos...'specially the waterfall. Do you mind if I highjack it and use it for my wallpaper? The pink hibiscus one is lovely, too!
YAY! I approve! I think you'll love it. I certainly did! After reading your post about Kona and the Tonga Toast and I went out and booked an ADR for our trip coming up.
Hopefully it's as yummy as it looks!!

The macadamia nut sounds good, but I hate pineapple so I guess I'll pass on the pancakes, but Johnny loves pineapple! I should tell him to try them next time!Yes... I have to agree with this although Tonga Toast def comes in a close second... you get this macadamian butter that should be an illegal substance too... awesome...
Kona is also a nice place for dinner... it kind of flies under some people's radar but the food is really rather good...
Sorry about the rushed service... I think earlier at breakfast seems to get you better service at most of the Dis breakfasts... At Kona I have seen this at breakfast and I don't totally get it because it isn't usually totally booked like at the character breakfasts...
& if you had to kill some time somewhere there are worse places... your photos were really good and those tiki statues are a lot of fun...
I could totally go for one of those shortcakes right now!Great update! And I have to say that I love that strawberry shortcake too! I will definitely be getting that when I get back to WDW.
Thanks! Spaceship Earth is really dark and hard to get pictures in! I had to jack up my ISO as high as it goes.Great update! Again, beautiful pictures... I'm especially impressed with your photos from Spaceship Earth. Mine never seem to turn out very well!
I look forward to seeing where you headed for dinner!

More replies later, too hard to do on my iPad!
I really enjoyed the tour, it was a lot of fun and quite informative! Has good reviews too, the only bad review I ever read was because someone had a less than awesome guide.I've always wanted to do the Behind the Seeds tour...I mean, just the name itself is uber-cool! Now that I've read about your experience, I must make it happen soon!
The next time I'm making a salad, I'll totally be thinking "Vegetable Torture" as a I chop celery and shred carrots!
We aren't gardeners either (like, can barely keep house plants alive) and it was still pretty cool, they never got too technical and they kept it interesting. I enjoyed it very much!Awww love him!!!
The Behind the Seeds tour sounds really interesting! I've always considered booking it for us, but wanted to make sure that we wouldn't be too bored, since we really aren't gardeners! But it sounds like a fun tour, even for the not-green-thumbed!
Woohooo! Glad to have you back!Officially caught up
Your picture quality is just amazing....gorgeous!!!
Right there with you!mmmmmmm strawberry shortcake (homer drools goin on)
Hahaha isn't he cute?Great update and wonderful photos
I've never noticed blueberry boy before but will be sure to look out for him on my next trip !!
It can be done! Up your ISO and slow your shutter speed down, around 1/50th if you can. Open your aperture as wide as it will go and voila! Although I think I still lightened mine in Photoshop a bit...ME TOO!!!
That's right! I now need to do Spaceship Earth with my camera. I don't think I've ever even TRIED to get shots in there. Thanks for the new challenge!!!
