Did we survive 11 days of DxDP? Upd 3/24 California Grill

I'm really enjoying both trip and dining reviews. We are considering same time next year.

Very nice dining reviews and your family is adorable.

Kudos to you for taking all the kids to so many sit down meals. My kids are normally well behaved in restaurants but we had a bad breakdown at Le Cellier one time and it stressed me out so much that I have just been sticking to mostly counter service.

Looking forward to the rest of your trip.

Thank you! We absolutely loved being there during the holidays. We will definately be back again during that time frame.

Thank you :goodvibes

I was pleasantly suprised that the little boys did so well at all the TS meals. The only ones I was worried about were the nicer places...Le Cellier, YS, CG -- but they did so well that I wouldnt hesitate to book a signature restraunt again with them.

Great reviews. :thumbsup2

Looking forward to more.

Thank you! Getting another update out shortly!

On December 21 we had an 805am ADR for Crystal Palace. Since the "end of the world" had not come yet :rotfl2: we headed off to MK for our ADR.

We checked in and had to wait until about 815am before we were seated.

Our waiter came and took our drink orders and then Harper, Evan & I headed off to the buffet.

My first stop, PUFFED FRENCH TOAST -- but there was none there -- completely empty

I got fresh fruit, breakfast lasagna, breakfast pizza, Mickey waffles, a piece of bacon and a croissant.

For Evan I got him strawberries, yogurt and Mickey waffles.

Bo, Hunter & Jaxon went to get their plates and luckily they had restocked the puffed French toast by that time. Bo brought back a big plate of it for us to share :thumbsup2

The puffed French toast was AMMMMMMMMMMMMAZING -- cant wait to get some more of that sometime soon I hope!

I didnt care for the breakfast lasagna -- it was almost sickenly sweet. I only had a few bites of it.

After breakfast, Hunter was presented with a birthday cupcake

We really enjoyed our breakfast at Crystal Palace. Definately will return again -- for more of that puffed French toast is nothing else!!

Subscribing! I've still yet to eat at Crystal Palace but we're going in October with our two little boys so I have my sights set on it! Your family is adorable! Can't wait to read more!

Here are the other snacks we purchased on December 20 at HS

And 2 of these little beauties -- Carrot cake cookie. This was our first time to try the carrot cake cookie and it DID NOT disappoint! It was very sweet though, so we just took a bite or two and would put it away. I am happy to report that these hold up well in the fridge and were just as yummy 2 days later! :thumbsup2

We also purchased OOP a bag of Kettlecorn and an OJ while waiting for Bo & Hunter to ride RnR ;)

:welcome: Crystal Palace is a lot of fun! Highly recommended!! We originally had a pre-park opening ADR, but then they changed the park hours to open at 8am :rolleyes2 Regardless, it was still a great way to start the morning!

We are headed back to WDW in Oct too for a short trip :cool1:

Thank you for the comment regarding my family!

I have to admit, I have CP book just for the puffed french toast. One of my favourite foods at WDW!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Your kids look like they are so sweet to each other.

Looking forward to even more reviews!

Something always gets in the way of my CP reservation! Who knows, maybe we'll be eating in the CP at the same time in October! :rotfl:

How can I have missed this report?! I love when big families write dining reviews, always lots of yummy food on offer. I'm impressed with Hunter and Harper's adventurous eating!

My little boys had just started to like Pooh and the gang a couple months before our trip...so the main reason for that ADR was the puffed French toast (and pre-park opening ADR...but we lost that when they changed park hours)

The kids are pretty good to each other most of the time ;)

Oh I do hope you keep CP :thumbsup2

There is definately lots of food (mostly yummy :lmao:) in this DR.

Hunter & Harper did a good job ordering some different items.

Another update this weekend :)

We were disappointed that our pre opening time was no longer pre opening too, but Crystal Palace is so awesome so it didn't matter! Love puffed French toast and I enjoyed my small serving if the breakfast lasagna too! Hoping to get back soon do we can try again!

I agree that a CP bkfst anytime of the morning is perfect -- whether it be pre-park opening, or last bkfst seating :thumbsup2

Maybe I should try the breakfast lasagna again too in a smaller size. I'm certainly willing to give it another try.

Your kids are so cute and I am soooo loving your food reviews and the pictures. Everything looks yummy. We are going in October, 4 of us and we have the DxDP also. I can hardly wait.

Oh, and I subscribed :thumbsup2
