Pictures tell a different story - second trip added page four

When were you there? We just got home on the 15th. We were at OKW on Jan 5-6, BLT 7-8 and SSR 9-14.

Upcoming plans are May 18-20 at AKV and BWV May 21-25.

BLT and BCV in Sept. Kids are planning to do the Tower of Terror 10 Miler.

Nice on the plans Rae. :thumbsup2 I guess you renewed that AP, eh? Or got a PAP.:cheer2:

We left the day you arrived. So I probably gave you evil eye at MCO. :rotfl: You know when you see all those happy faces arriving and you're so envious. :rotfl:. Actually this time - with daily issues (most roads leading back to IT ;)) - I was ready and happy for the first time ever to go home.

Have a wonderful time on your holidays. May is such a beautiful time to visit. :beach:

:flower3: LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!! :flower3:

Thanks Karen. :goodvibes

I always love the pictures more than just the telling of a trip .

Well I'm going to go out on a limb and say that translates to *male*. :confused3:rotfl:;)

Thanks for coming on over. :goodvibes

Makes me more excited for our trip in Sept!!!
:thumbsup2

Have a wonderful time pauly's girl. :goodvibes What resort?

Pauly always takes me back - not to the Jersey Shore - but to Jungle Fever. Those guys in the diner were just TOO funny. But I think he might have been a Paulie.

Well, I'm just a ramblin'. :drive:

Nice thing about being a DVC owner is "I'LL BE BACK"

What kind of camera did you have?????
j

Absolutely. I'm such a go with the flow kind of girl. And have never had anything but lovely stays so this kind of shocked me .

But I'LL BE BACK is lovely, isn't it? :goodvibes

Cameras - funny long story.

Most of the pictures, 90%, are a Kodak Z712IS - it's a point and shoot that I love so much that when it started to die a slow and horrid death (insert wink) I bought another for $45 on ebay.

A few pictures are from a Kodak z990 Max - I thought maybe going one level up - without going DSLR - would be better and grabbed a new one for $100. It isn't. I only have eyes for my Z712. :goodvibes

I did dream of walking around just taking pictures. That never happened. I was sick almost the entire vacation. So I was surprised I had enough pictures to even do a TR. I just can't wait just to walk around taking pictures.

You just have a great way of looking at life, and it shows in your photographs. Thanks for sharing- and so glad you got a happy memory out of it!:thumbsup2

Thanks Ellen. So sweet. Thank you. I do feel so much better just looking at the pictures. And the family was only there for five days so they were away from the some of the ongoing issues so - for that I'm glad.

And as per usual - I am blessed on rooms. I had fabulous locations as did they. So good on that. :goodvibes

Thanks for sharing!

Thank you. :goodvibes Thanks for coming on over momof2disprincesses.

thanks for sharing. :-)

Thank you Big Kid.

The kids are adorable :goodvibes

They ARE adorable. She's hysterical. Quite the personality. Her brother only wanted to go fishing at WDW. :rotfl2: And we never made it. :sad1: But he loved going over to AKL.

Sorry your trip was filled with problems but glad you will be able to return and have a fabulous trip next time!

Thank you. I know it's hard to believe at Disney - I wouldn't have believed it but it was full of daily problems. So I WILL be having a fabulous trip next time. :goodvibes ;) You're right Tinks "SS".:flower3: Thank you for coming over now and before.

Fabulous shots Lisa!

Thank you, David!

Beautiful photos! :goodvibes

Thanks so much. And thank you for coming over.

Awesome photos! :thumbsup2

Thanks for coming over wiigirl. :goodvibes

Some wonderful highlights:

* I have always had a room fairy. :goodvibes Truly. This trip was no exception. My views at BLT and BCV are on there. Both were wonderful. As was my family's room at BWV.

* Go back and look at their BWV view. It's a garden view. Pick it if you are in a studio. It's Village Green (all studios) and had such a lovely, relaxing view with partial BW view - loved it. And room ready for them at 11:30 am. And right at the elevators (such a strange sentence for BW!!!! Smiling!) So lucky.

* I had three great TS meals. I worried about Ohana. Never been :confused3 and thought "Oh I'm not so sure". Some things were gross to me (wings, noodles not warm) but nonetheless the meal as a whole was lovely. The noodles and wings I could have sent back but the meat was already loving me up and it seemed like no big deal when I was loving everything else. And I lucked out and got the best table in the place for Wishes.

Oh and the salad was deceiving. So plain but I could have eaten it for days.

*Yak and Yeti sometimes has negative reviews. My first time there as well - so strange after all these years. :confused3 We shared appetizer, entree and dessert. All were fabulous and hot. HOT is very important to me when dining. I hate buffets -that's one reason.

*Le Cellier was wonderful. I'm not a huge lover of the restaurant. But it was spot on that day. The burger was heaven and apparently has now gone to burger heaven. :sad1:

* Also, I forgot Kona Cafe. It has never failed me. EVER. Beautiful breakfast. And yes I had a LAPU LAPU at breakfast again. :rotfl2:

*And there's a shrimp stir fry over at the GF's CS. FABULOUS. Can't even express how good it is - And FRESH. Fresh - like hot - is so important to me. Had it about six times on vacation. Even better as a leftover - don't you love it when that happens?

So sorry you were sick. :( Hate when that happens. Hope you make up for it on your next trip.

Yeah, we got the PAP. Don't know why, we aren't waterpark people. Was really looking forward to the 20% discount until they pulled that rug out from under us. :furious:

You were giving the evil eye to other people at MCO because we drove. ;)

We love May at WDW. :lovestruc

As I was writing I did have this thought - this little voice say "hey Lisa - maybe they drove!". :rotfl2: I simply told it to shut up. ;)

I LOVE road trips Rae. Jean well she loves shorter ones. ;) Our route from here is GORGEOUS. Starts off boring but beauty comes in bulk after a few hours. It's 90 to 79 to US19 to 77 to 26 to 95 to 4. A lot simply go straight 75 all the way but I prefer West Virginia. How I love the descent from WV into VA and then down into NC. Heavenly. :drive:

I missed this! I'm so glad you posted your pictures. You have such a unique perspective on things. Sorry the trip didn't work out as planned, but I'm glad you got such beautiful shots!

So, so, so beautiful. The shots of your kids are precious.

Thanks ever so much for sharing.

Now stay warm as we hunker down for this big storm, and think happy Disney thoughts.

Wonderful photos, they don't even need to be accompanied by words! Thank you for sharing!

I've never been sick while vacationing at Disney, talk about a bummer! My son, however broke his nose and had reconstructive surgery just before his middle school graduation trip with his 5 buddies. No Aeorosmith's Rocking Roller Coaster, No Space Mountain, no horsing around in the Turtle Pond pool (which by the way is how he broke his nose to begin with)

It wasn't the perfect vacation that we'd always had at Disney, but like you, there were still many good times!

And my, the pictures of those beautiful kids, takes my breath away!

Just beautiful.

And no, the amount of words was just right. You are very talented in both areas. ::yes::

I'm happy too - it seems like such a wonderful trip now. :rotfl2: ;)

Thanks Alison.

The shots of your kids are precious.

Unfortunately, they're not mine. ;) I'm the pink one. And not as cute as their parents! :goodvibes But thank you - they are.

Thanks for your lovely compliments papertraveller. And I got very little here (snow )in comparison - we never do - downtown Toronto. Hope you did okay.

I love snow. I'm ducking while someone somewhere whips a snowball at me. :goodvibes Actually Canadians would line up in the front of as I know very few people love snow here.

Wonderful photos, they don't even need to be accompanied by words! Thank you for sharing!

Is it wrong that I laughed at the bold. :rotfl2: I think it might be. ;) :lmao:

Sick pretty much every day - pretty well sucked! Sort of 50/50 with Disney's precious IT department. :lmao:

Thanks so much Beaslyboo for coming over. It's lovely to *see* you and hope life is great!

Just beautiful.
