We went to Disney World in 2010, and I have been begging to go back. 3 years and one more kid later we are going back!!!!

Our family:
me - mom, wife, planner, stresser
Hubby - dad, non stresser, payor of this whole shebang, not much of a planner
Thing 1 - 7 yo boy
Thing 2 - 4 yo boy
Thing 3 - 2 yo boy

How the trip came out:
This trip is as spontaneous as a family with a mid grade income and three young kids can make it really. We (my sister and I) were planning a large trip, with all 6 of our kids, and 5 adults. Being that she is due in 2 months (yay!) this year is not possible, nor really is next year. So my husband (who was SO not a Disney fan before out 2010 trip) came up with the idea of an August trip. I agree as long as he meant in addition to Jan 2015, lol.

Detals:
Aug 19-23, staying at AoA. I am SO excited to stay at the new hotel. Little mermaid rooms look amazing, the whole resort does. Added bonus is the Cars area (not cost effective this trip I'm afraid) for Thing 2 who loves Cars.
Aug 18th and 24 we may be staying off site.

Thing I WILL do this trip!!!!
@Spend more time at the magic kingdom. We spent the least amount of time at MK in 2010, and it was my biggest regret.
@Watch wishes. Hopefully from the beach at the poly on our 1st night there, and from the desert party just hubs and I. Hiring a baby sitter in FL scares me a bit, but I have heard good things about a company I cant quite remember the name of right now.
@Eat less table service!!!! We ended up eating table service, most of which was in Epcot, at most meals, and we missed so much.
@Dole Whip. I have heard good things and it will be hot anyways.
@Start walking longer distances before hand. Last time I did no prep in this area, and by the end of the day I was crying in pain. It helps that i'm trying to lose weight and training for a 5 k.

More later, but for now.......:dance3::dance3::dance3:

How fun you have been before and know what you want to do. Don't forget you can get Dole Whips at the Polynesian resort.

SO excited! Our 180 day mark is Feb 20th.

Our sons still have not figured out what we are planning. They have seen us looking at Disney stuff and planning a trip, but they still think we are talking about when we are going with my sister :rotfl:

Im having second guesses on not doing a buffet on epcot day. We have to pay OOP (out of pocket) for my youngest, and he eats just as much as the other two, so a buffet would solve that issue as kids under 3 eat free at buffets. Hmmmmm

Just keep a close eye on him and if he does find out, make him a coconspirator. He will love that.

So Im making changes to our plans, like 5 days before our 180 day mark, lol. I need to find a new place to put kona, or take it out all together. Im also kinda in love with the idea of doing tusker house before open, then being one of the 1st few trucks out on the safari, but then we would miss the open show there also.

We are paid off!!!!!!

Every once in a while I will "remember" that we are really, really going. Its for sure now. Im so happy and excited!!! It feels like im going home <3 <3 <3

102 days to go and we have changed our plans!

We moved from AoA to all stars music, and added on two nights.
