Snacks on the Dream

We did a 5 night on the Dream last summer but was not able to explore alot of the adult areas. I have been looking at recent navigators and I see that their are snacks offered at The District, Cove Cafe and Preludes....are these included in your cruise cost or do you pay extra for these? I think I read on an old thread about secrects that DCL doesn't tell you that the pastry in Cove Cafe is "free" but I wasn't sure about the other two?

There is a snack bar in the District that opens around 10pm. It has finger foods - mini subs, eggs rolls, ribs. It varies. One night there were chocolate covered strawberries. The next night, no dice. It's free and very tasty.

Preludes is only open during the evening shows and there is extra charge for those snacks.

Cove Cafe - I believe you have to purchase a coffee/beverage but then the pastries are free.

Snacks served at night in the District are free.

The cove cafe and the pastries offered at the Vista Cafe (on deck 4 of the Dream/Fantasy) are all free and you do not have to purchase anything. Preludes and the snacks offered by the movie theater are the snacks you will need to purchase.

Thanks. I didn't realize Preludes was the name of the area that sold the theater snacks. Obviously if I want those snacks I will need to purchase them.

Great! I will need to visit cove cafe and the district on this cruise. Sounds like they offer lots of yummy treats!
