disneynewb...OMG on the waffle pics. I think those are worth a trip over to RF even if you're not staying at WL!!!!!

I'm planning our trip for Jan 2014 and just confirmed that my parents will come with us! :) So it will be DH, me, DD6 and DS4 and then my mom/dad. We would like to do connecting rooms at WL - will that be a difficult request?

Also would that affect something like being the flag family?

If it's really important to you, I would make that your only request. That will up your chances.

Nope.

We did it and our request was granted last September. We just made sure that we had the connecting room request in both reservations. We didn't have any other requests, and we ended up with awesome rooms. The ones we had were a king bed connecting to a room with two queens, which worked out for us. I think that is how many of the connecting room pairs are set up.

Having the connecting rooms worked perfectly. With the doors open we had a lot of room, but then each family had their own private space at night. In the mornings when everyone was up and ready we would open the doors and meet up to start the day. Enjoy, it should be a wonderful trip!

Thank you everyone! I'm so excited for our trip - I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row...less than a year to go now! :p

Does Roaring Fork have egg beaters??? (I can't seem to find this info and never needed to ask before.)

Thanks!
I don't know if they have Egg Beaters. I know the TS (Table Service) meals do have them, but I don't know about the QS. Hopefully, someone else will know:listen:

My wife and I will be staying Club Level this June for 8 days. We have a breakfast ADR at Crystal Palace one morning. Besides that we are considering having 1 or 2 days of breakfast each at Roaring Fork and WCC. Is it worth it to have more than 1 day breakfast at each since we will get free continental breakfast with club level? This is in terms of do Roaring Fork and WCC have enough good quality breakfast choices; and would we get tired of the continental breakfast if we did it for more than 2 days?

Take the boat over to FW, Trails End serves up some mighty fine breakfast buffet....

We usually only do one breakfast while staying CL. They have multiple cereals, fresh fruit. Three kinds of bagels, cream cheese, jelly, PB, and muffins. We have stayed up to two weeks and didn't get sick of the choices, but that's us.

Just booked our 1 year wedding anniversary weekend for jan 31- feb 2 at the lodge!! Can't wait to be back.

It's a treat for us to have a hot table service-type breakfast while on vacation, so we always go to a few of our favorites, even when staying CL. We always go once to WCC, The Wave, Trail's End and sometimes Kona. It's not so much that we tire of CL breakfast, we just also love those particular hot breakfasts at WDW. In fact, DH has been known to partake in some fresh CL pineapple as a pre-breakfast breakfast!

Yippee! Would you like that noted in the Lodgers' Log on the first page?

Hello Kook,

Could you add us to the log, please. We are doing a split stay between AKL-CL and WL-CL.
Our WL stay will be 8/15-8/23 :)
Thank you.
