Free DDP questions

Typically when they do the free DDP do you have to stay for a full week or can you just be there for 3-4 nights.

Also if I buy the NE ticket I know I have to still buy a ticket to qualify for the DDP, can I just buy a 1 day ticket?

Two more, Is the DDP based on the number of nights of your stay or days of tickets?

And if I stay at a value resort can I upgrade from the QS DP to the regular DDP if so how much is it to upgrade normally?

FYI we will be a family of 3 adults.

It doesnt have to be a week but there is a certain night minimum stay. Meal credits are based on the number of nights you stay.

I believe free dining requires a two day ticket purchase, not one.

Yes, you can upgrade to the regular plan and pay the difference. There is an upgrade costs sticky at the top of this forum.

Typically when they do the free DDP do you have to stay for a full week or can you just be there for 3-4 nights. In the past FD required a minimum 3 night stay to a maximum of 14 nights.

Also if I buy the NE ticket I know I have to still buy a ticket to qualify for the DDP, can I just buy a 1 day ticket? Two day ticket for everyone 3 years old and up in the room. If you already have NE tickets that you'll be using you can save the FD tickets for a future visit. Otherwise, if you don't already have tickets you can add days to the 2 day tickets FD requires and use those on this trip.

Two more, Is the DDP based on the number of nights of your stay or days of tickets? Number of nights of your stay.

And if I stay at a value resort can I upgrade from the QS DP to the regular DDP if so how much is it to upgrade normally? Yes. There's a sticky at the top of the Dining Plan Board that gives the upgrade costs.

FYI we will be a family of 3 adults.

My answers in red.
