Not to give anything away for those who haven't listened yet, but be ready for some new sound clips.

I was listening while I was working this morning. I had to try very hard not to laugh out loud, I didn't want to wake up the rest of the house! I like what I've heard so far, pretty excited for the videos - although that will probably slow my work down .

I agree, i liked the intro and am excited for the video. I also don't mind the plug as all other podcasts do it (and need to). Also, you can try to really personalize the ad reads and make them funny to keep people interested.

But the sound clips....um....don't take this the wrong way Pete, but they are kinda hokey (reminds me of a bad morning drive radio person). You guys are funny/interesting as it is, you really don't need those sounds to "enhance" the show. As you said about the change in ABD management, if ain't broke...

I agree! I like the clips pulled from old podcasts much better. You guys provide your own great add ins.

I'm good as long as they don't add background music while they are talking or music in between segments. There is two Disney podcasts that I like, but rarely listen to because the background music is so annoying/distracting.

I miss the Bob Varley sound clips, but the others had me cracking up because Pete's trigger finger got so itchy.

While Yes - Pete's finger may have gotten too itchy ...... BUT ...... I absolutely LOVED a sound clip from one of my all time favorite movies
"Young Frankenstein". I was roaring with laughter !!!

One of the things I love so much about the DIS podcast is the real interaction at the roundtable. So, yes, I thought the sound clips - especially during the 101 segment, were a bit much - but it just seemed so right to me that Pete would be excited about his new toy. And listening to Theresa complaining about it was pretty funny.

I miss the clips from the old shows. Not sure about the new clips from TV and movies though. Otherwise I love the show.

I agree. I didn't hate the clips but I liked the ones pulled from the show better.

The show clips where fine, but like someone said, the TV/Movie clips where hokey.

In all honesty though, I only listened to 11 1/2 minutes before I turned it off so I could go back and listen to old podcasts. Since they are going to be video now, I'm losing my intrest in listening. I have a feeling that since I don't have time to sit and watch, I'll always be missing something.

That's a good point. I listen to the podcast while I'm running, so I'll obviously not be downloading the video feed. Hopefully it won't be too different.
