- Chicken Breast Nuggets & French fries
- Chicken BLT Salad
- Vegetable Subosaurus - grilled vegetables, mushrooms, and onions served on a toasted roll with French fries




AlohaPolynesian said, "Just ate at Restaurantosaurus! My nieces split the chicken tenders, my sister had the Chicken BLT Salad - she said this was just okay. I had the Veggie Subosaurus without cheese. It was surprisingly good due to the fact that the bread seemed fresh and the portion of veggies was pretty good!"




Then later AlohaPoly sent this update...



"Just did dinner in the room tonight (I had potato chips). One of the little princesses isn't feeling well so we called it an early night and are watching Disney movies in our room. I DID need a little something though, so I headed to the Outer Rim in CR. I was perusing the menu when the bartender said I "must" try the Captain's Mai Tai, so I did. Now I'm enjoying it while watching Princess and the Frog."

Here is what she said, "We just finished up lunch at Everything POP. Not the best use of the deluxe dining plan but since we are about to head to the pool it was the only option."

"Obviously they were good because they were gone before I could take a picture of my lunch."

Chicken burrito with tie died cheesecake, strawberry milk and a pickle.


"Pickle for the kid, and just had to try the cheesecake."



"The burrito was very dry. A lot of flavour but could have used a little more something to moisten it up. And I know the cheesecake is one of their signature items but it was just really sweet cheesecake. I only ate two bites. I like the red velvet cake on the bottom but it's not something I will have again."​

She and her family arrived at Disney World today.



Here is what she said, "We made it! First thing, we were booked for lake view in BLT and this is our view...

"Wow, we were shocked!"




"First thing we did was go to new Fantasyland and Marshall and I shared a LaFou's Brew. It was "meh", not everything I was hoping for."

"Then we stopped at the Lunching Pad for a sweet cream cheese pretzel. Yum! Marshall and I really liked it.
Doug (the hubby) didn't though."

'OHANA

"Then tonight we ate at 'Ohana. Doug loved the salad. I didn't. We both liked the wings best and the steak. The noodles were AMAZING. Marshall ate his weight in them! And Doug picked every mushroom out of the stir-fried veggies. He thought they were great. The sad part...I didn't love the bread pudding. I wanted to, but I just didn't." ​

disneybride said, "We had the most amazing experience at La Hacienda last night. The food was good but the service was amazing."



They started by sharing the...

Melted Cheese with Poblano Peppers, Chorizo, and served with Flour Tortillas


"CHEESE, CHEESE, AND MORE CHEESE. YUMMMMM!"




Then for their shared entree, they chose the...

La Hacienda
Mixed Grill offering with New York strip, Chicken al Pastor, and Chorizo. Served with grilled vegetables and side dishes of rice, beans, and fresh salsas.


"So much food! The chorizo was incredible and the corn had a nice spicy flavor. You need to like spice for this meal, but we did not think it was overdone."


"We ordered dessert, but were so full by then. DH got Empanada de Manzana (puff pastry filled with sauteed caramel apple, and served with dulce de leche ice cream and cajeta, which is Mexican caramel sauce). This was too rich after a heavy meal."


"I ordered Helado - traditional Mexican ice cream, which was really sorbet. It was just right!" ​

"DBF's desserts: Peach Cobbler and Bread Pudding with rum and vanilla sauces. He couldn't pick a favorite between the two. Both were "so amazing."

"Perfect dessert plate: Cinnamon Chocolate Mousse, Peanut Butter Square, Eggnog Cheesecake, and a Zebra Dome. I loved them all, but the peanut butter one was my favorite."​

Hey Barb! I just wanted to share some food news that I read on the Restaurants Board.

Hurricane Hanna's (the pool quick service location at Yacht & Beach Club) reopened today. west&east posted the menu here - apparently there are a bunch of new menu items! Among them are:

-Hanna's 1/3 lb bacon angus cheeseburger with Vermont cheddar and steak sauce
-Grilled chicken breast sandwich with a four-cheese blend, tomato, avocado, and arugula
-Grilled cheese and smoked bacon sandwich with Vermont cheddar, apple butter, and blue cheese
-Lobster & shrimp roll on Parker House bread with citrus mayonnaise
-Chopped field greens salad with turkey, blue cheese, craisins, and orange vinaigrette
-Vegetarian quinoa wrap with roasted vegetables, hummus, and goat cheese

I'd love to try the chicken sandwich, lobster & shrimp roll, or quinoa wrap (and although I recently stopped eating red meat and pork, I have to admit that their specialty burger sounds fantastic ). To showcase some of these new menu items, maybe you could offer an extra point to anyone who hits up Hurricane Hanna's (like with the new French bakery)? It's just a suggestion, since I'd love to see what some of these dishes look like.

Today we received the first lunch update from Le Cellier since the recent changes. With lunch now being a 2 credit meal (on the DDP), they have switched to one combined lunch/dinner menu. This menu does not include my personal favorite lunch entrees, such as the Le Cellier burger and the salmon.


CaliBear included pics of this new menu in her lunch updates, however some of her pics were transferred to me in a smaller size and unfortunately the menu pics were among the mini-photos.


So get out your magnifying glasses and take a look at the new day-long menu for Le Cellier.

What, you can't read them?


Well, just in case you haven't already seen it, I'm pretty sure that this is the correct new Le Cellier Menu.



Regarding her lunch, CaliBear said, "I had many new dishes I'd never tried before.
We started with cheddar beer soup and bread. Delicious."

"Next we had scallops from the appetizer menu. I'd never eaten a scallop and I quite enjoyed this. DBF said they were quite nice."

"We also tried "poutine" with red wine reduction. I've not had real poutine so I can't compare, but this "inspired by" version was fantastic."

"We finished with maple crème brulee. This was another dish I've never had in any flavor. It was very good."

"Our server was Courtney. She was very sweet. The house was packed btw, but I did see a lot of people splitting the filet of doing all apps like we did."​

She said, "Wish I could send a cute pic of Marshall with the characters but he was deathly afraid of them.
So we have just two plates of food.
First my husband's plate of meat and his beloved Mickey waffles."

"Then my goodie plate with doughnuts (last year I thought they were Krispy Kreme, this year not so sure). Nothing stood out as must eat. Just mass-produced food for screaming children and their parents."

marshallsmommy said, "Yum! Not too sweet, but not too tart either. I'm not a dark chocolate fan so this was perfect. The little balls are like rice krispies and were a weird addition texturally when you are thinking mousse."

Chicken & Lamb Combo Shawarma Platter served with side of Hummus, Tabouleh and a Tangierine Couscous Salad with fresh Moroccan bread

"We couldn't agree where to have lunch, so I got the Chicken and Lamb Shawarma from Tangierine Café. I wish I would have just gotten lamb. It was really good and so was the hummus and bread. The couscous was okay. Not a huge fan of whole mint. It's in a "to go" box because Doug ate in Mexico so I grabbed mine and we trekked to Mexico to eat!"





La Cantina de San Angel

Tacos de Carne - smoked beef brisket tacos served on fresh handmade corn tortillas with Pico de Gallo, lime and corn tortilla chips




"Doug had the tacos de carne. They were just okay. One thing that annoyed me was that this was our first time using the regular dining plan and a quick service credit since we ate all table service last time. So Doug comes back with no churros and as a good DISer I know those are part of the plan. He said the girl who rang him up didn't say anything about dessert and I didn't go back to argue for fear that the birds would take off with my son!" ​

"Chef TJ wasn't there, so I did not bother requesting a separate vegan meal. Instead I just tried a few things and wasn't that strict about it this evening....OOPS!"

1/3 pound Angus Bacon Cheeseburger & French fries


"CaliBear said, "You can sub couscous for fries if you wish. Not pictured: a fountain drink and some hummus and pita chips that we purchased to eat in the morning. When you order a cook to order item here they give you a pager that lights up when your food is ready. So we brought a cup, chips, hummus, and a slip of paper to the cashier and paid $17 and some change. A few minutes later, the pager lit up and he went to get the burger...and he paid for the burger a second time. Either he's extremely tired and forgot he'd already paid for it or he's so used to paying high prices for Disney food that he actually thinks chips, dip, and one soda cost $17. Anyway, he was reimbursed and he really enjoyed the fries: crisp outside, soft inside. And the burger was ok." ​
