I can't sew and we used felt glue and iron on hemming tape to create ours, it held together wonderfully and I have made two more for friends PM me if you want pics and/or instructions.

Really?? Even when I add the fees, it still beats Delta's non-stop by several hundred dollars. Southwest doesn't have a non-stop, but the cheapest flight we could find is almost 6 hours long, $268 and gets in at 11pm in Tampa. If you found a non-stop that is cheaper, please share!

I would take deltas. Why? Cause I can't stand the nickel and dimeing. If Delta were about the same as us with bag fees for the non stop I would do it, if they were more with the bag fees I'd take us.

One tradition that marks the gathering as a true 'Champagne Girls' meet is that everyone wears pink and, if they want, a pink feather boa and a tiara.

It's not non-stop, but SW has LAX to Ft. Lauderdale on May 4th for $127, one stop (2 free bags, all the chips you care to eat, lots of juice and soda), leave at 10 am get to FLL just after 8 (5 PDT). Several others at $187 also with one stop. I'd rather have one stop on the luxury airlines like SW or Spirit because 5-6 straight hours is a killer.

I love SW. I booked all 4 of our flights for this cruise with points just this weekend. I know that we'll each get 2 free bags, and a little closer to departure date I'll pay the $10 for the return flights out of LAX because we can't check in 24 hours in advance since we'll be at sea.

Hello.....My husband and I will be on this cruise with our DD (8) and my parents.....this cruise is one we have been waiting on for a while. When the employee pricing came out we couldnt resist!

As of 1/22/12 (8:15PM Eastern), we had NINE DISers who previously expressed interest in a total of 13 room nights prior to the cruise. Within the past 24 hours, I have been able to confirm the rooms with SIX of the NINE DISers.

If you previously expressed interest in staying at the DoubleTree at Group Rate Discount, but have not heard from me within the past 48 hours … please contact me via FB PM or DISboards PM. Currently, we cannot move forward with active reservations, with only SIX DISers.
