Just wanted to do a little Disney dancing...we arrive to our favorite WL (and our first CL stay) 2 months from today!! So excited!!!:banana::banana:

Oh... this is getting really real. it's almost 180 days out and I return home..... :yay:

I do have a question though about groceries..... and I plan on posting this in the DVC Lodge groupies forum as well.....

We are in a 2 bedroom, we should be at the resort at 1 PM and I would rather get me groceries before we check in...

If the room gods are kind, we can get in right away :rotfl2: but if we run later I can't remember if they can store the milk and juice for me....

Does anyone know?

They do! We fly in from Cali usually landing around 4pm and the groceries are always already there for us! :yay:

Though I've never used it, I've heard that Bell Services has a fridge and will store perishables.

Oh man! I hope that slide is finished by Feb 22. I switched our stay from the poly so that we'd have a working pool. It would be so sad not to have the slide!!

If anyone is staying there in early feb, please let us know if it's finished!

We were down for a quick weekend trip and stopped by WL. There was no closure at the pools. So wished we had stayed at WL.

Kook,

Yes, I had an email from them this morning saying my three ADRs have been made and an itinerary was attached! They also attached the informational form for us to complete and send back to them.

Thank you for your advice! :flower3:

Can someone who has been there recently tell me if Roaring Forks serves Mickey waffles or pancakes for breakfast? I see pancakes listed on the menu but have seen waffles in trip reports. We will be there in two weeks and I am very curious as to which one it is. :)

Roaring Forks has both! The "Breakfast from the Grill" side on the right as you walk in does platters with pancakes, eggs, and bacon while the counter on the left does Mickey Waffles with your choice of Strawberry, Banana, or chocolate toppings. These became a favorite of ours last trip! :thumbsup2

What time does the boat to the CR begin to run? We have Chef Mickey reservations at 7:35 a.m. Thanks!

I am not sure about the boat, but we were there last month and took taxis to dinner reservations and it was so much better than stressing about being on time using Disney transportation. Also, a taxi to the Contemporary would be really cheap.

I wasn't sure of the start time, but the sign in the picture on the fourth post of this thread shows 6:55 AM for the Blue Flag boat starting times. I remember it being earlier than we ever needed, and you should be totally fine for your 7:35 ADR. Once the boat arrives it will likely only be a five minute ride and about a 5 minute walk from the dock to Chef Mickey's. We went a little later, but had no problem with boat transportation to CR for Chef Mickey's. Enjoy!

Thanks to everyone!
Also, I asked this and never got an answer. We are staying in a deluxe room so we will be going to the Old Faithful Club for some breakfasts and for some dinners. If some of my 5 children want to get something to go from Roaring Forks can they bring it up to the seating area of the Old Faithful Club to eat it (along with what is offered in the Lounge)? Thanks!!

Fab! It's just one of those little things that I've never really needed....

Yes, they sure can!:thumbsup2

Does Roaring Fork have egg beaters??? (I can't seem to find this info and never needed to ask before.)

Thanks!

We were there in December and I tried all 3 mickey waffles. My fav was definitely was the banana fosters. I didn't care too much for the bacon but they still charge you the same price even if you choose not to get it...and I didn't know until the last couple of days that you could substitute really anything in place of it... like sausage or strawberries! OMG these were the best things i've ever eaten!! lol

I love those waffles, but I get the kiddie portion. Two is enough for breakfast for me and my husband likes milk so he has the milk for breakfast.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm:banana: (esp. the banana waffles)
