Just back from AoA LM 54 Pics! + 71 more of other areas at AoA and a food pic link

On your food pictures my question is where did you all get the Lobster?
The food at AOA looks really good I can't wait to eat there.

I am sorry they are not all labeled yet. I tried several time but my computer kept freezing up! grrr The lobster was from Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian. It's a 2 TS rest. I love it there. During or after your meal, You can watch the MK fireworks from the deck because the music is pumped in and then wacth the Water Pagent Parade. It's awesome! Highly recommend! I'll go back now and try to label them again :)

Anyway plans for April are going well, you should come join the April planning thread and the FB page!!! Hope things are going well and you get the planning started...:goodvibes

Hi there!!
I just read all your info on aoa-- it was great by the way!! And the pics were amazing, thanks for sharing!!

I had a weird question if you don't mind me asking. We are planing an April trip and are hoping to try aoa. I have 3 picky eaters and had a question. When looking at the menu for the caf at aoa, I don't see any "plain" food like the other values offer. For example- grilled cheese, nachos, chicken nuggets. Do they not have all them options??

Also is there the self serve area like the other values where you can get doughnuts, crossaints, etc??

Thank you so much for any info. It is a big factor for my kids. :)

Hey, were going in April too! Did you join the fb april 2013 dissers group?

The food court is called World of Flavors, I think, and has Lot's of variety. We got back Tuesday from the Dolphin and DD's dissapointment was we didnt go there and get the Mongolian fish. That said, My kids have very diverse appetites and never once went for any of the things you mentioned. However, they do Have those things on the kids menu, I just can't say if they were good or not. The one thing I will stay away from after both our recent trops is anyting with chicken. From the resort to Epcot it was very fatty little pieces of mush or mushy "real" chicken breast.... YUK. But I won't do McNuggets either, so if you eat those, you'll be fine. For the price though, I want better than McNugget quality :rotfl:

They had a pastry area where you could grab and go also. The food court did not have paper or plastic wear. It was plates, silverware and much sturdier trays!! :thumbsup2 I think they are trying to make a distinction due to the high cost of the suites.

The resort really is amazing. Sometimes I think they are all hype about things, but for me, this area lived up to and exceeded my expectations.

FYI, POP is just a walk across the bridge so if nothing works for your kids at AOA's food court, walk over to POP. In April we are staying at POP, but will be walking over to AoA for food! :thumbsup2

hope this helps - Join our FB page, it's called April 2013 DISers
:goodvibes

ONE MORE THING!!!

There will be a fridge in the room and I highly suggest getting milk and cereal and eating "in" for breakfast. Saves a lot of time. I pack a couple boxes of cereal and get Milk at the food court or gift store.
:goodvibes
