Do Mickey waffles actually taste good?

We have found them to be good when they are fresh. They do tend to get a little hard and tasteless when they sit on the buffets too long.

Wow! we love the Mickey waffles. I'm not a big waffle person but mickey waffles are so tasty!!! They have a great vanilla like flavor that is better than any waffle I've had before. We actually got married at Disney and had our whole family at Disney for the wedding and everyone was raving at how good the mickey waffles were at the different Disney restaurants. I dunno maybe our families and friends are weird?

Agreed! I'm gluten free (GF) too and LOVE the GF Mickey Mouse Waffles! The other day was my birthday and I said to my mom "All I want for my birthday is a GF Mickey Mouse Waffle." Yuummy!

I think what makes them so good is the size and depth of the I guess you call them pockets to hold syrup!

Try the food court at one of the resorts. The ones we had at POFQ have always been fresh. They usually seem to have come right out of the waffle iron. Some mornings I had to wait for ours' to finish cooking.

I love them with of without syrup. They are perfect when you get warm, just out of the waffle iron.

I think the small waffles are delicious if they are fresh. The larger ones are just like a regular tasting waffle for me.

I don't eat waffles, or pancakes for that matter. And I hate maple syrup! But I always know when DS27 is gonna like his waffles. Some places, not Disney, seem to use pancake batter for waffles. Disney doesn't. I can smell the differance even if I don't taste it! Lol! I know strange!!! But he loves them.

They are my (and my husbands )favorite Disney breakfast item! Our first experience with them was at ohana for breakfast and they were yummy! I think there is malt in the mix.

I do not care for them at all. And to me, they do not improve no matter how much "Table Syrup" one douses them with. Fresh made, fluffy waffles with real maple syrup these are not.
