rep said she was told by her supervisor there wouldn't be any Dessert Party in March. I won't give up, but bummer. Anyone think this could be true?

I thought there was the same rumor for Feb.

It was the same rumor for February! You would think that for as long as the dessert party has been around(atleast a couple years) the CM's on Disney Dining would know more about this event :confused3 I cannot think of any reason why their would be no Dessert Party...I mean Tomorrowland Terrace is now serving breakfast since the Main Street Bakery is being refurbed,so its not like the restaurant will be closed as well

Just called for March 17, nothing open. CM checked a couple other "ways", and said it didn't look like there were any bookings for March yet.

I'll try again tomorrow! :rolleyes1

Feb opened quite late, I wouldn't pSnic yet... Although, by the first few days in Jan, I was panicked about Feb, lol.

I called today for late June - she wasn't very confident and first said nothing was available for those dates, then someone near her told her that I have to try back 60 - 90 days out. I'll keep checking...

I'm waiting (also not so patiently) for April...

I hope with all the changes to the Disney online site, that they also improve this process. It seems to me to be so strange that they can't plan more than 60 days (or less) out and open up the reservations, just like any other "dining experience". Anyone know (or have an educated guess) why they do it this way? :confused3

My guess (and it is just that, ONLY a guess) is that with the dessert party being in conjunction with fireworks, even though they have schedules 6months out, technically fireworks shows and times are tentative. It is probably a lot easier and predictable when they schedule it only a couple months out. More manageable so they don't have too many parties to cancel/ reschedule/ disappoint customers. Just my thoughts.

Disney has given me conflicting info the few times I've called or used the chat. We are visiting Disney the end of April into the first week of May. I'm glad to hear that I still have a slight chance of scoring reservations:cool1:

Now can you book your reservation for the dessert party online or does it have to be by phone? Thanks!

You can do either. I personally always do nonlinear.

Wow! I can't even begin to describe how it has declined. I'm only from my iPad but the availability has decreased and the variety went way with it. For the first time I walked away

What caused you to walk away? Was it the actual food, setup etc???
