Wow!!!!! Thanks for the tread!!!! I love all of the pictures. I really want to stay here - with a theme park view!!! :goodvibes .... hopefully one day.....::yes::

Oh, you're welcome and I really hope you someday get to book a TPV.

Kook, you are absolutely welcome to anything I post!

You didn't get any wine on those posts did you?

Thank you, Melissa - they'll be up tomorrow with your name in lights.

Great thread, as always, Kook. Pretty soon you'll have all the Deluxes covered! :thumbsup2
HA! I'm done, all the Deluxes are covered now. I'm not overthrowing anyone.

Hello kook another great thread .... don't know how you do it! :confused3
Welcome, Linda! And to think you're right next door! I really enjoyed creating this thread - a labor of love.
This thread is awesome! The CR is my favorite place in all of WDW, and I love seeing all of the great pictures here! Makes me even more excited to go back in May. :dance3:
Thank you! I'm so glad the thread has made you even more excited about your upcoming trip. It made me want to book there again, too!

No, no! Everything is safe from the wine ;) I wish I had taken more CL pics while I had the opportunity. I have a few of the view from the CL, but no more of the lounge itself or food. I will mention that in addition to Diet Coke there was caffeine free Diet coke in the CL fridge, DH was happy to see that. I am sad we won't have the CL in Feb :(

Love the new thread!! Really think we might have to do a split WL/CR trip since both of the threads are so awesome. :goodvibes

Perfect idea - it's a great split! We did it in August: BLT one bedroom then into a Sea Raycer right on over to WL/CL. Actually, we drove and it took us less than 5 minutes door to door. Loved being able to walk right over to MK and then to FW:love:

Checking in garden wing on Saturday..thanks to all for awesome pics and info
I hope you have a great vacation and I'm glad you like the thread, bridgie04:)

The new thread looks fantastic!!! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

I especially like the historical tidbits.
Why thank you, Amanda:). CR really does have a fascinating history and has really evolved throughout the years. Those "southwestern-themed" years weren't its best, but they really made up for that with the last full rehab. I love the soft, Asian-inspired decor. I am a bit worried about the current soft rehab. Hope it's tasteful and seamless. Maybe babyberger will get the elusive photos for us next month - no pressure:hyper:

thanks for the great thread! Hoping to stay here next year!
You're welcome, DharmaLou. I hope you get to visit CR/BLT with Violet, too:)

So excited! Just booked BLT 1 bedroom for a week in Aug. We are DVC'ers and this is our first time at BLT! We have stayed at CR before but that was awhile ago & without our kids. Time for me to read up on all things BLT!! :thumbsup2

This has to be the best resort thread ever!! lol Thank you WDWKOOK for doing this!!!

Great new thread!! Can't wait to see the new pictures of the refurb!:yay:

A little sad that we couldn't stay CL this time as the 12th floor is closed when we are there but after seeing all the BLT pictures I am really excited about our 1 bedroom we booked there.

It appears that the balconies on the 14th floor are not covered like they are on the 12th floor. Does anyone know if they are partially covered or not? I would think this would not be good for sun or rain?!?

I added a table of contents to the first page.

New thread looks great! Thank you for doing this.
You're welcome, cadale! I'm glad you like it:)

For some reason I feel the need to price out CR ;)
Noooo, you're supposed to try BLT, remember?

 Wow, I really appreciate your generous comment, Desnik - everyone's compliments have made this all worth it - what a great bunch you all are - thank you:grouphug:

We have babyberger on the job. She'll be there next month and is going to ask for a (soft;)) rehabbed room.

Well, I was worried I'd miss CL, too when we tried BLT in August, but we didn't really miss it much at all. There are so many great dining options within walking distance and there is so much room (at least for 3 people) that it more than made up for not staying CL. You're going to love it and don't forget about the whirlpool tub and washer/dryer:love:

:scratchin
Our resident suite expert on the old thread was Tara in PA - her suite photos are linked to in the CL section. However, she didn't post any photos of the balcony, but I know she could answer your question if someone else doesn't. You could try PMing her.

What an awesome thread! I am honored that you added a link to my BLT rooms and views thread! :cheer2::cheer2:

We stayed in a CR suite a few years back! The balconies are deeper (they fit more chairs and a lounger too! And yes, part of the balcony IS covered!:thumbsup2

It will be fun looking through this thread! We own DVC at BLT and just got back from another wonderful trip. We usually stay in studios but this time we had a one-bedroom and it was fantastic!

Thanks for setting up the new thread! Looking forward to our first CR stay in April!

This is my dilemma as well. We have enough points do to one trip in a 1 BR once a year, or two trips in a studio per year. There is a little wiggle room in there, but not much. We did a 1 BR at SSR, and that washer/dryer alone was great. But, when you added the space, tub, space, kitchen, private rooms, and did I mention space, it was even that much better. Then, BLT adds a second bathroom. So far, two trips have won out over the 1 trip, but I can see a time as my children get older that we will want the 1 BR all the time.
