We are so excited to be going back to AKL this June! :cool1: I am trying to plan a night at our resort where we can grab dinner at Boma or Sanaa and still do the story telling by the fire pit. Does anyone know an approximate time that they start the story telling during the summer? (I need to know when to make our dinner reservations so we get out in time for this). Thanks!!!

...last May it was between 5:00pm and 7:00pm, but too long ago to remember the exact time. You can always call directly to find out though....:thumbsup2

dgbg - could you please add us from 3/13-19/13? WL Cl/AKV split. Thanks!

Good afternoon,Js & Ks! :sunny:

Looks like we managed to dodge the Winter Storm Warning bullet today!!

And, Bob and I are celebrating two years since his stroke. Some days it is hard to believe it has been that long.

...it seems like only yesterday you undertook that whole ordeal...

Strange question...
If I end up needing an ECV will I be able to keep it in my room?
I'm asking because our room isn't accessible - didn't think I'd need that when we booked.
:confused3

my younger daughter and I are staying here March 1-4 she turns 14 on the 2nd and is an animal freak. She thinks we are staying at Pop Century ;) my question is what does "no view" mean under Standard rooms? like an interior room with no windows? Standard was all they had available on the discount I used when I changed from pop. I figured she can walk around and see animals but I would not like a windowless room....thanks

All rooms have balconies, so you have to have a view of something???

But, no worries! There are LOTS of public viewing areas. You can even view them at night with night vision goggles- free! :woohoo:

Thanks for the new home Kim!

Tracey, most resorts let you park an ECV in the halls. If not you can get it in the room, but it might be tight.

Please add me to the list: Jan 21-26. It's sort of our honeymoon? We're getting married Feb 6 and not taking a trip after so this pre-marriage trip is it for us.

We will be doing our second trip to AKL in early September. Also it will be our first time doing club level. I'm so excited.

I always thought AKL would be my least liked resort, but we loved it so much! We can't wait to get back.

What an awesome idea!
Chance to get away & relax before all of the rush & craziness of your wedding. I think we spent the first 3 days of our honeymoon just decompressing, so by the time we wound down enough to enjoy it was almost time to go home. Wish someone had suggested that to us back in the day!
