Thank you for starting this thread!! This will be our first ever cruise as well! I will be traveling with my DH, DS (5), and DD (3). We are from the Oklahoma City area and traveling for Spring Break. We are interested in participating in the FE!!

Hi fellow cruiers!

I am so glad to find others who wil be on this cruise. I wll be taking two of my three children on the cruise. My husband has to work and my oldest son has prior commitments, but the three of us going intend to have fun. Joining me will be my DD (11) and my DS who turns 17 the day we leave. We have been to DL and WDW around 50 times combined but only on the DCL once before.

My sister cruises often and she told me Fish Extender is a lot of fun. I will be happy to organize it if someone tells me how! Any interest? Just might add to the magic.

Tictoc, are you still willing to organize the FE group? I'm new to FE, so I'm not sure what all we need to do

We will be sailing for our first time for spring break! It is my husband and I and our 8 yo daughter from AR. I was just wondering about the fish extender gift exchange. Is there a group going on for this? This is all new to us but really sounds like fun and we would like to participate!!

I, too, am hoping we get a FE going for our cruise. I believe there are a few whom said they wouldn't mind getting it organized. As far as I know we don't have one going on any other thread. It might be a slow go since it was recently they split the 8 day cruise up...to one being the cruise we are all booked on. I could be wrong

Well let me know!! Still a little overwhelmed with all the FE ideas!! How can you keep it cute and cheap??

I can head up the FE if need be. I've never done it, but I think if we keep it really simple, it won't be a big deal. I vote for everyone do what they feel they can-one gift per cabin, one per person, whatever...no rules!
I was going to hang my FE from my last cruise up anyway, and put gifts in it myself for my 4y.o., so I was already commited.

So I guess everyone put your cabin numbers, and gender and ages of cruisers in a post here. I will keep track of everything, and make a document if I need too. If we don't get over 10 or so, we can probably each keep track ourselves.

What does everyone think? Any other opinions or ideas? Let's discuss.....

I would think our FE group will be pretty small as there are only a handful on here whom have posted I believe "do what you can" is a good motto as well. Some of the FE threads had me 2nd guessing participating, but I know my 9 and 6 year old will love it and will be appreciative for whatever they/we might get in our FE.

It would probably be important to set a cut off date for those who might make homemade gifts. Should we say 1 month (Feb 19) before we cruise? Again, I have never done this before...

Hi Everybody! I just booked this cruise yesterday for my family. First Disney cruise for all of us. I saw the fish extenders on Etsy just today, and had no clue what they were. It does sound like fun, so you can count my family in! My DH, DD8, DD5 and I will be sailing. Oh, and we are from Arkansas too.

We will most likely be in. We will discuss tonight if we would rather participate in FE or try to get an upgrade when boarding. I will post back in the next couple days after we talk about that.

Do we give FE gifts to the adults too? I notice that some FE's have pockets for parents.
