The man with the 11 month old beagle has just contacted me, the other family has not shown up for their meetings with the dog. He wants to set up a time for us to come and see her. Yikes...we had pretty much put the idea to bed, now I am not sure! I want to see her but....:confused3. I think I will phone DH.

I will try and post a pic of her.

Pas Congrats sounds great. Do you still have AP's? Congrats on OT. I am serious burn out mode as far as work is concerned. I need a vacation....like now.

MM If I could pay mine off online I would impulsively pay it off. I know better. It doesn't stop me from making changes.

Jen I think you want the dog. Sometimes it's good to go with your heart.

I am so far over budget with this trip. Now I have 3 reservations all with 200.00 cancellation fees. I hate when I do that. I wish the Ap rates were comparable so I could book room only.

Stinking budgets, wish we didn't have to worry about them. On the other hand, you do plan really cool trips! :thumbsup2

Adorable!!!:cool1:

I have the money so I just probably just go with it, and not feel guilty.:badpc: It is why I worked all those extra shifts. :crazy2: My Ap's don't expire until Sept 17. The weather in Florida is not that great in Sept so I should probably do my blow out trip now, and do whatever I can afford in Sept. Maybe Dl in September? I really want to do another cheap Sept cruise though. :scratchin I'm thinking out loud again.

Your family has a fabulous planner! Lots of great options.
When I get all the wedding stuff paid off, we're booking a trip back in Sept. 2013. We are looking forward to enjoying YC CL. :cloud9:

I will be doing my no hurricane dance for all of us.:rotfl:

Jeanette! Is there a meet up in our future?? We are May 15-20....and very close by at the Beach Club!:hyper:

Thanks Basketlacey, Jeanette, and Padawans for responding about the bug. She no longer has the stomach pain, just a weird throat and mild fever, with red hands?? WTH? Anyway, I hope she will continue to get better and I can get her back to school tomorrow.:)
 May 17-22

Pas, Woohoo!!:woohoo:

That would be such fun!
We'll do our Beaches and Cream Sarah Tribute

Oh boy....meant to be Jen. :goodvibes She is cute...make a decision BEFORE you see her, you'll never be able to say no in person :guilty:

.

Most of my time I do transport...if I had to do OT in the ER  not sure CL is worth that headache...and my AP is good until August 10th, but have to get tix for the kiddos :teacher: Cha-ching :rotfl:

Poor Bree is home now...she fell at recess and cut her chin....luckily they glued it instead of stitches...poor baby :sad1:

Happy Thursday Ladies! My boys have off tomorrow and Monday and I am so ready for a nice 4 day weekend! :cool1:

Mousemommy - Yay for PIF again! Now sit on your hands!!!! I hope your girls enjoyed their snow day! :goodvibes

babyberger - Maybe you can find something your DD reeeeeallly wants to do on this next trip and then oops, we ran out of time. Maybe in April? Just kidding. Too mean. Maybe  Either way, you know you will be back eventually. :goodvibes

wookie - I'm so sorry to hear about the money issue and the rescheduling. I hate when real likfe gets in the way of my Disney! :sad1: At least planning is so much fun and now you get to do it al over again!

Jenny - I hope your girls kick this bug asap. It's so hard to watch them feeling poorly. Let us know on the dog. It kinda sounds like maybe it was meant to be. :confused3 Do you know what you will do with her/him (?) while on your vacations?

padawans - I love your change! Three ressies with cancellation fees, eh? :scared1: Sounds like maybe you should sit on your hands with Mousemommy! It's going to be perfect as is! :goodvibes

pas - BWI CL in May sounds lovely. Walking to F&G in the springtime :cloud9: The CL CMs are really awesome there too!

gwynne - YC CL in September sounds great. You're a frequent YC CLer right? I am trying so hard to remember our fairy godmother CM's name and I am at a loss. It was like Davina or something? I want to write a letter to the GM to let them know how super awesome she is, but I am the WORST with names.

Have a great day all! :goodvibes

Sitting in carline hoping to catch up a bit :)

Jeanette - woohoo on your May vaca!!! That was quick :)

Jen - sounds like you have had your hands full with sick girls :( What did DH say about the puppy? She is cute and probably pulling at your heart strings right now!!!

Ginny - I gladly welcome your no hurricane dance :) although my kids seem to usually miss a few days of school sometime in Sept or Oct because of those pesky tropical storms and hurricanes.

Padawans - I agree, Sept is usually so hot and humid you would be better on a ship than in the parks. Last Sept we just melted in WDW, and we know better but the kids were so excited to go again. Our AP's expire Sep 15 and I think Feb 10th will be the last day we use them :(

Candace - yay for PIF!!!!! Now you get to,save for spending money :) if you don't already have a Target card get one because you can use the 5% disc on Dis GC's!

Okay let me at least post this before I get distracted, lol!

Oh and in regards to DD's bday, she has had plenty in WDW to be able to make an informed decision. She loves the attention of everyone saying Happy Birthday but I think she is really wanting to have a party with her friends this year, so that is what we will do :)

Hope everyone is having a great week (and all the sick kiddos are on the mend)!

Thanks Melissa  Bree is loving the BWI pics I am showing her...and I told her about CRT she is over the moon!!!!!!!!

Oh No! Poor thing, hope it wasn't too hard of a ordeal on her. Darn falls.
I have never had a chance to see what the glue is like. Probably better then stitches.

I know, I should get my head straight. He wants to meet at a dog park not too far from here. I have emailed DH to see if he can meet us there. Then he asked my if he should bring all her things (toys, bowls etc.). I feel like I am going to get in trouble with DH. He is not too happy with me.

Hmmm good point, and no not really. But we have FIL who loves animals and usually looks after our cats along with my dad and mom. I guess we could board her as well. We will see.

Luckily it closed nice and even, and its under her chin, not her face :goodvibes Just can't get it wet for a few days...no biggie. I'll keep her home tomorrow since I don't want it to re-open

I hope your DH can go to the puppy interview...if you hit it off, you'll have a new puppy tonight :) Perhaps she should meet the kitties too though...in case the pups doesn't get along with them

She's fine! My girl is so strong. She's happily finishing up a Strawberry milkshake  She blames her sister for running to fast away from her ;)

April is cancelled once again :( DD is insistent that she wants a party with her friends (and lots of presents, lol). I wasn't thrilled with the rates anyway, but sad I won't get to meet Candace and her crew.

I'm sorry about the trip, but that sounds like my JM. When I asked him if he would want to go to WDW over our birthdays at first he loved the idea. Then he said it would be rude to go away for his birthday, and take away the ability for others to give him presents.

OH NO!!! I am so sorry, that stinks!!!! :sad2: Sending you lots of

Melissa

Thank you.

Whoa. I know you're flustered when you forget to use your green font...

I'm sorry you are having a bad week...I hope things get better soon.

I do tend do forget to do that when I'm flustered. Plus I was using the iPhone while the DH was in a customer's house and I don't know how to do that with the DIS app. I'm not sure if you can. I think I can if I go through Safari.

Wookie: Awww I am so sorry to hear of that mix up. Please don't get too discouraged. I still think it is amazing that you are managing to do schooling on top of everything else. Hang in there.

Jen

Thank you. I think I'm about 60-ish% done.

Gah! I'm sorry. :( You need a drink tonight.

Thank you. I thought about adding Crown Royal or Vodka to my Dr. Pepper bottle, but the blood pressure was up and the mil made me take some more medication for it.

This is our Squirty...

Lao Che....

I love the cats pics!! They are so pretty!! We always had cats when I was a kid. We lived on 10 acres in the country and my dad worked in the oil field. He was always bringing them home. One time, we had a pure white cat, with crystal blue eyes that my mom named Crocket after the character on Miami Vice.
I call things that seem like a good idea, but the reality of having it isn't a good one, a cat idea. The reason is, I love cats and I love having them. I just can't stand the litter box and having to clean it out. I get so OCD about it, I clean is as soon as they use it. So for me I love the idea of having a cat, just not the reality of it.

Wookie, sorry about your trip changes too! It takes a lot of dedication to get through school -- hopefully another trip will emerge for you too when the time is right :) I hope you don't have to wait too long!

Marie

Thanks, me too. I had to wait 6 years the last time.

 You'll get done with scholl and WDW will still be there when you do!!!! Assuming the mixup was with financial aid at your school...grrrrrr...unfortunately that does NOT shock me :furious:

I just hope I can get done at this point. When I started I didn't want to go at all, and had to take a few classes a couple of time due to not wanting to make thread of discussion posts like they wanted. Now I hate the thought of not getting done.
The mess up was financial aid. There have been so many turn overs in that department, no one ever told me I was getting near maxing out my loans.

Wookie Good luck with the financial aid stuff.
Thank you. That's a biggger pain in the rear than the actual school work.

BB My son was unhappy about spending his birthday at WDW. He had it in his head that he wasn't going to get presents.:confused3 We celebrated his birthday 10 days early at home. He was VERY ok with getting his gifts early. We celebrated it again at WDW.

JM thought the same thing. I just had to assure him that it meant having more birthay celecrations. One with my family, either before or after his bday. One with DH's family, either before or after his birthday. Plus the entire time at WDW would be a great big birthday celebration.

Let us know what you decide. As much as I love having dogs, they are a lot of work. Plus, if you want to go anywhere you'll have to figure out what to do with the dog. I don't know if y'all ever do last minute trips, but having a dog does make that harder.

See if this link works.

there are 3 pics of her.

Awwww...such a cute baby Beagle!! Thanks to Holly, I have a serious weakness when it comes to baby Beagles.

Since this session just started, and I still have another semester under my current financial aid (I think), I'm going to wait until the first of this next week to talk to my financial adviser at school. I have enough of a headache, that I just don't want to deal with it. Hopefully, I won't have to take school any slower than I am now. I already am only taking one class every eight weeks.

My DH doesn't want me to move the trip, until we have our taxes done. He's still thinking it could be done.

Pas: That sounds like the exact place DD4 split her chin too. It has healed up nicely though. Hope hers does too.pixiedust:

Luckily the meet up with the dog isn't until tomorrow at noon. I told the owner that even if I like her, my DH and girls will have to come and meet her too, maybe at night.

I am beginning to think I just like complicating my life!!!:rotfl: And sucking up to DH.

ANyway yes...let's meet up!

I heart I shouldn't worry about the cancellation fees. Disney will let me move them to another date if "knock on wood" something unexpected happens. They will only charge me if cancel completely. I thought of you when I booked the triple split club level stay. You, Pixarmom, and myself are the split stay nuts.

Jen My dh was not too happy at first. He had been asking for a dog for a year, and a Chihuahua mix was not his idea of a "man dog". He loves the dog now. Dogs have a way of stealing your heart.

Pas What about summer. Is that still on? Yeah I think I'm done with the extra shifts. My dh goes back to work in Feb. He did get his 3 months FMLA. All paid. It pays not to be sick for 24 years. I'll be back to alternating between full time and part time soon.

My dh is playing hide and seek with the dog right now. I think he needs to go back to work soon. :rotfl2:
