Any rumor when 2014 dates come out?

My wild guess is they will do two 12 night Baltics similar to 2010 with of course two repo cruises. It's been mentioned that they could do 7 night cruises, but that seems unlikely as that would rule out St Petersburg - a big draw for Baltic cruisers.

Yes I would definitely not do a Baltics cruise with Disney if they did not include St Petersburg - when every other line does.

The Baltic was AWESOME!!!! But sooooo expensive! That said, I'd love to do the repo from Dover back down to Barcelona and then a full Med cruise! (Doubt I could actually afford it, but it would make me Platinum....Guess I'd better start saving my pennies!)

Curious - were there any sale fares on your Baltic cruise? When we did our Med cruise in 2007, we cruised about the same time you did - mid June. Since some schools are still in session at that time, Disney had a hard time filling the ship. We got a cat 12 fare (old way of discounting before OGT/IGT/VGT) for only $4K. It was a great deal for 11 nights.

Yes! We got an amazing deal! When the cruises first came out, the two cabins for our family would have cost $25K! :scared1: But because we could make the June cruise, we got a last minute sale for $6K! (Guarantee Inside, but then when we got to the port we upgraded for a couple hundred.) Per night, it actually turned out to be the cheapest cruise we've done with DCL! But we never would have been able to do it at the original prices. That's my fear now with the Magic potentially returning to the Med. I soooo want to do it, and we'll be transferring to Europe this summer, so the airfare, etc. shouldn't be too much of a problem. Except, we certainly can't do $25K! :scared1:

Funny - I got a call a few weeks before sailing and was upgraded to an outside room (no charge). I could not believe my luck. $4k for an outside for 11 nights. Even with that deal, it was expensive with airfare and shore excursions. Looking back, I would do more on my own and spend less on excursions.

Was your sale fare offered AFTER the cancellation deadline? I honestly don't remember when our sale fare popped up, but it must have been before since they allowed me to change rooms. We moved from a verandah to the cat 12 - saved something like $8K!!

I would love to do a Baltic, but I'm afraid we're relegated to a July trip (due to kids' activities). I'm sure no discounts will be available then - too popular a time to cruise.

I think it was just after the paid-in-full date. I remember thinking that I was never going to be ready in time! But we kept it a secret from the girls. It was great fun - we did a scavenger hunt with the help of their teachers on the last day of school! Then we went straight to the airport. And Grandma & Grandpa surprised us all by showing up at the port!!!

Thats great - love it!

I've just been reading on another website that the Magic has been spotted on the Dover port schedule for summer 2014? Apologies if this has been discussed already on this thread - I haven't checked in in a while :)

I've got everything crossed for a Baltics. We were planning on doing a Baltics cruise for June 2015 with another line and Tokyo for September 2014 but would be very tempted to swap those two around if I could get on a Disney ship to the Baltics :)

I too have everything crossed for the Baltics with DCL in 2014!

At the Gold/Platinum reception Wednesday night, Captain Gus said to watch for the new schedules to come out next month. That's what he is hearing from DCL.

We did the Med on 7-7-2007 and then the Baltic on 7-6-2010...would do both again and maybe even a repo between the two?
Also wish they would include Hawaii again. Couldn't do it this year because we were already doing two cruises....
Would love to do a Nova Scotia cruise too.

When we went to the Baltic our most favorite time was the time in St. Petersburg! Beautiful place....

The announcement can't come soon enough...lots of plans to make!

It would be nice if the announcement could wait until at least 1/28 so I can "restock" my online dummy bookings. ;)

It was around this time they announced last year wasn't it? I remember it was put back slightly because of the Costa Concordia disaster. I know it's been nearly a year since we booked our EBTA :)

i'm pretty sure it was around the end of the month. I get paid on the 31st and i remember last year having the hold on my booking and deposit payment due by the 31st

Me too :yay::yay::yay:

You can't beat the convenience of it for those who live near the NY Port. It was great being home within an hour of stepping foot off the ship.

I agree!!! We loved sailing out of NYC and are hopeful that Disney will come back soon!!!!
