Who keepsordering mornings every day? Bleh.:rotfl2:

First time back on in a few weeks. Been really swamped here at work, normal workdays were from 5:30AM to 4:30-6PM depending. Good news is that it will help pay for the upcoming WDW trip in June.:cool1:

Matt

That makes it worth it. :thumbsup2

I'm not allowed to stay at places that close to a Bass Pro Shops without a chaperone:rotfl2:

By the time they came to Canada, I moved on from fishing, man they could have made a gold mine on me alone.

That stinks... hopefully you cut Bud Light, Old Milwaukee, PBR, etc....

It does very much, it affected a lot of local microbrews that doesn't have strong sales, I had to pare them down. I took out a lot of discount brands too, can't touch Old Milwaukee's stuff, they are protected. :headache: Big two breweries here Molson and Labatt, suffered many casualties:rolleyes1

Didn't touch too many imports, Mississauga is a fairly multicultural city, and the bulk of our sales are imports, Europeon stuff etc. Over the next couple of months, I'll get backlash for sure, going to have to weather the storm. I know my boss supports my desicions, that will help. I still tailored my portfolio to tailor to the beer snobs. :rotfl2: Might drop running the beer altogether in the long run, concentrate on spirits now. Been in charge of beers in whatever store I'm in for 13 years now, and it's not the same, not nearly as fun anymore, I think it;s time for a change.

Happy birthday Norm's daughter!

I have to admit, all this new talk about running has me scared. 2 years ago everyone at my church suddenly started training to run marathons, and every single conversation I wandered into had to do with intervals, training programs, etc. and had me looking like this: :confused3

But at least I could take refuge in the DDC...now it's happening again! :scared1::rotfl2:

Norm and I came up with a man law while you were gone. "If you have to put up with the cold, at least have some snow to play in."

Norm PM me with it, I updated Page One a couple of days ago.

You guys should check out Page One, lots of fun and interesting stuff there. :rolleyes1

Maybe we should start a thread for dads who have no desire to run any farther than the refrigerator. :confused3

I'm assuming if the next DDC ends up being June 2014 then prob won't do DDC 3 till Jan 2016 but we are getting ahead of our selfs haha

Good morning fellow dads, DD is a lot better but kept her out of daycare one more day as a precaution

‘Morning all…

Dave you forgot to say No lights and sirens. My Money is
on Fed now. :rotfl2:

My money was on Fed in the first place.
:lmao:

Who keeps ordering mornings every day? Bleh.:rotfl2:

I put in an order to go straight to evening on Mondays and have six day weekends.

But whoever it is that's in charge of such doesn’t listen to me any more that y’all do.
Can’t say as I blame him either.

I'm with you guys....the only running I'll do is to catch up with the ice cream truck. :thumbsup2

Or a Disney Transportation bus going to the park I'm going to at the bus stop 300 yards in front of me.....right Doc?

:lmao:

That's what I was thinking...

I don't think I'm going to torture myself with the full next year. I really want to be able to run the entire 1/2 with a 2:15 time. DW doesn't think going down again is a good idea but maybe if people are sharing rooms again I'll jump on that.

So what team are you on?

Maybe we should start a thread for dads who have no desire to run any farther than the refrigerator. :confused3

I believe I won the 5m couch to fridge run this year

Sounds like a good story.

All y’all that went to the DDCC are planning on writing some Trip Reports… right?
If you can even remember some of what went on, I for one would like to read about it.

That is a great picture! I bet you won't even charge me $34.95 for it! :lmao:
No, I will. But I'll throw in free shipping!*

*On emailed pictures only. Physical shipping will be extra. Please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery.

thats a great picture!!! just wondering what kind of music do you listen when your running???
randall i would have this on!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-txZ20uH8IY
I had a mix of stuff - some Disney music, some heavier stuff (AC/DC, Metallica, etc) and a few inspirational country songs tossed it. Also, Bambi and the kids all recorded short inspirational messages that I randomly stuck into my playlist.

You're the one who just spent the last 3 months putting the fear of Crash shiving me at mile 22 into my head!
And I'll bet it worked, didn't it? Around mile 20 you started looking around to see who was running next to and behind you. Around 21 you started peaking around bushes and behind overpasses. And around 22, you kicked up the pace a bit, just to be on the safe side.

I have to admit, all this new talk about running has me scared. 2 years ago everyone at my church suddenly started training to run marathons, and every single conversation I wandered into had to do with intervals, training programs, etc. and had me looking like this: :confused3

BACON! DOLE WHIP! PRINCESSES! FART JOKE!

I plan on it. I also plan on finishing my current trip report from August. :sad2:

In the winter I place drinks in the window beside me to chill in the cold. Just open window, and presto! No getting off the couch!:rotfl2:

Ahhhhh…
That’s better.

It took me a year to finish my last one so I’ll not be throwing stones.
(but for a while there I was trying to do two at once… bad idea).

You get back to them when you get the chance.
But if you’ve nothing better to do, I’ve started a new one that you can wreak havoc on.

Can’t pull that off down this way…
Might give it a try for reheating coffee this summer though

^fixed it for ya :cool1:

Nicely done sir.
You get three At’a-Boys for that one and a coupon worth an extra pound of bacon at the next DDC Buffet.

:thumbsup2

DW is looking at January 2015. She wants to run the Goofy for her next speed limit birthday

Nice turn of phrase there :thumbsup2

May have to pick that one up.

Thanks. I figure its a nice way of saying a big birthday without saying how old someone is.
