Anyone notice that the AU4234FDD code is only doing a single upgrade? I tried today for a friend - Last week it was doing the double.

I just came to look and see if there was an April 2013 thread started yet as there was not last time I looked & there must be a lot of us trying to plan ahead glad I found this.

The only even acceptable rate that I can find so far is the National KLM rate. It is still outrageous, compared to the bargains I usually get. Just under $500 for 4/19-5/1 pick up & drop off at MCO.

We have some time yet, hopefully we will all be able to get some great deals by helping each other out through this thread

How can you tell that Alamo is only doing a single upgrade on AU4234FDD instead of a double? The verbage says something like 'upgrade coupon accepted'. It could still be a double upgrade.

You could always do a print screen and take it with you to the desk. They would have to honor it. However, I think it still is a double upgrade code.

You can book a minivan with Budget for now using travelocity code x474200. The e-coupons expire end of Dec right now. Total $359 inc taxes. Add a $30 coupon later and you will be at $329.

It definitely is a double upgrade, I did a dummy res at another location & it shows the appropriate "standard" as the selected class but only in MCO does it go up one class to midsize. Like I said, I do know that MCO does not have a standard size in their fleet, but the res still should show it like it does elsewhere. I use Alamo because of the Kiosk, etc.. I dont want to go to the counter, etc, espec at MCO.

*edit - I spoke to Alamo, they agreed it is only showing a single upgrade in MCO only - but of course they will honor it. I have it printed & will show the Rep outside - I do not want to go to the counter.

Guessing I was really spoiled?? Got a midsize for 9 days last October for $90 through alamo...was figuring I could get something comparable? I need jan 18-26...anyone got good codes for that time?

Double thanks for the code, got a minivan 4/14-4/21 for $305 including tax! Not the best rate ever, but pretty good considering the going rate seems to be between $500-$600

I got a mini-van for $315 for 4/20 - 4/27 using the KLM code. Like everyone else is saying, not bad considering most are over $500

My 4/20-5/1 rate with National (full size) using the KLM code finally went down a little bit, from $410 to $393. At least it is going in the right direction

Does anyone have a coupon code that I can stack with the KLM code that is valid through May?

Still waiting for the prices to drop. Compared to what I have paid in the past - this is expen$ive!
