Rainforest Room

I am interested in doing the Rainforest room on our cruise in March. I don't see anywhere where I can book it ahead of time on my reservation. Do you not buy your pass ahead of time? Do you just buy it when you get on the boat?

I called DCL directly to purchase one for my cruise. I later found it in the stateroom gifts section on the website - you'd have to send in an order form, though. Calling was easier :)

It's not a problem to purchase once you are on the ship. They will then give you a sticker to put on your KTTW card. If you go to the raffle on embarcation day, around 3:00, you might win something (I did!).

DH bought mine for me before we left through stateroom gifts. He called instead of sending the form. I would purchase ahead of time as I've heard they could sell out on board.

We bought ours onboard. We went to verify I our time for our message and check out the chill spa for my girls and they sucked us into it in a second. We spent a lot of time in there and it was totally worth it.

It's a whole lot cheaper to buy ahead of time. A one day pass is $15 online, but they were selling them for something like $79 on board.

In advance, a one day pass was $15 + $1 service charge. This was the same total $16 that was charged on board on our last cruise.

A 7 day "length of cruise pass" was $99, a couples pass was $149. They also offered 3, 4, and 5 day passes. Multi-day and couples passes are sold only on board.

DO NOT believe the hype that "we only sell 30 of these." I've heard it on every cruise. And I've never had them refuse to take my money when I wanted to buy admission later (single day or fewer multi-days).

A single day could well have increased to $17 since our last cruise; $16 was the last price I experienced.

Do the one day/week come with salt and sugar rubs? On the Wonder, the 7 day pass for singles was $144 but came with 5 little jars of the sugars/salts. I don't know what the single day was as I bought the week.

Does anyone know how much they are on the longer 14 day cruises? With 8 sea days, I think I'd use it all the time, but I don't want to pay $300 for it.

I got 3 adults, 1 week pass on the Fantasy for $149. We used it all but 1 day. We didn't get anything additional with it, such as scrubs. That might have been a different package. And I also don't believe that they will sell only 40 couples passes. I saw them still selling a few days into the cruise.

No, the pass with scrubs was a different price. The one week pass alone was $99 for a single individual.

If you got 3 people for $149, that's the best deal I've ever heard of!

But they weren't offering the $99 one, just the $144. It was even published that way in the Navigator on the first day. I understand it is a business (and a separate business from Disney) but I really didn't like the constant upsell of the spa, and I really didn't care for the desk people when I was checking in and out. When I made the mani/pedi appointments for my kids, you would have thought I was asking them to pay ME.
