Photo Sharing - Portraits

I searched for a thread about portraits and didn't find one, so it seemed about time. Doesn't matter which kind of camera you have, please share your portraits here. Studio, environmental, flash, available light - whatever works for your portraits.

Here's one from a year and a half ago I just got around to processing.

I really like this shot!! I've always wanted to do a trash the dress shoot.

My advice: Beware rogue waves that crash up your butt while trying to focus on your model.

Probably a bit of a nerve I have speaking from the comfort of my sofa, but looking at that shot, it was well worth the inconvenience of the rogue waves ;) I love that photo!

Well, that's easy for you to say. It wasn't your *** getting an instant enema. :)

I'm no pro, but I thought I would share these 2 of my daughter, Kate. They were taken in November when she turned 3 at a local college her in Northeastern Pa. She was so good that day! We were there for about 45 mins. She listened so well that day!

Thanks for sharing, Jim. Nobody here has to be a pro. This is just for fun, sharing and learning from each other.

Very nice and a sweet smile. Looks like you handled that outdoor exposure really well.

Thanks joe. I love going up there. It is a huge area with one place better than another. Kate likes going up there to walk around. I love shooting outside. I'm still really learning how to handle indoor flash shooting to have it not look artificial. I'm getting better though I think.

Thanks Will! I love learning! I have been shooting only manual since Xmas now with flash and I'm really liking it! It has actually made my shooting so much more easier if that even makes sense. I can't get over the flexibility I have now and the control is very easy to deal with on the fly even with 2 young kids moving around so quickly.
