DDC XXVI: They all went to the DDCC and all we got was this Lousy Thread!

Many years ago Living with the Land ruined Talapia for me... When the guide said that the fish was much more tolerant to dense populations in fish farms, the scientist in me had to find out why that was. I won't share what I found when I researched it, but I will say I don't eat that fish anymore!

We always hit that ride while we wait for the Garden Grill, I just don't try to fact find anymore.

Do share. I eat most everything, so it won't ruin fish for me. I too like the Living with the Land ride. One of my must dos. I want to do the behind the seeds tour one of these trips.

That explains my exercise habits completely.

Thanks, it was hard work but I relax now that my name has been inscribed in the historical record.

I still have never made the last word stat sheet. I tried a few closings but that was just too much effort.

Stats anyone?

How was the lobster Norm?

Excellent. We had lobster rolls for dinner.

I watched one of those tv shows about sandwiches across the US. They featured the hot brown from KY, Philly Cheesesteak, Reuben, muffuletta, etc. One of the sandwiches was from New England restaurant - forgot the name - the lobster roll. They caught them fresh, cooked them, brushed a hoagie roll with butter, and put lobster on the hoagie, and served it. It looked amazing.

Everywhere here and WDW, their lobster roll is lobster pieces in mayo - kinda like tuna salad or egg salad. I wanted the lobster roll I saw on TV and today, I had it. I have never cooked lobster before, and that was a lot of fun. But, eating a lobster tail on a toasted hoagie roll dripping with butter was just freaking out of this world.

I'm enjoying one of my Christmas presents now for dessert - Crown Royal.

Sounds great! Any leftovers :confused3

What's with all these new dads dissing the Pats.:confused3 Your just haters.

Same as the hockey haters with a certain team from Toronto :lmao::rotfl2:

Peanut Butter & Beverly!!!

DS was acting sluggish and had a fever last night. DW took him to the Dr and they think early stages of the flu.

Time to get on the phone and see if we can cancel our reservations for Nashville this weekend, and find out what it will cost me if I cancel... :(

We've all had our flu shots... including DS.

I talked to the travel agent. They said 72 hours notice is required to cancel the reservation and get any money back. Right now, we're at about 28 hours.

It really is a sticky situation. I get reimbursed for the expense... as long as I attend the conference. If not, I eat it. Considering the fact that I didn't have the money to spend to go to DDCC, I really need to get the money I've already paid for this conference back. I guess that means we're going. We might be stuck in a hotel room all weekend, but we're going. :confused3 :(

The TA is looking into it and will call me back if we have any other options, but right now it looks like we're stuck.

Aww man I hope it passes fast, maybe a 24h bug? They do exist... Prayers something works out

Ummm..okay, DW has gone on about how we will pay for this summer's trip.....

Now she's actually looking at tacking a cruise on at the end????? Did I miss something??

Evening fellow dads, I'm hoping for a simi relaxing weekend watching football, and alittle post Christmas cleanup, first weekend that I don't have something I have to do in about a month, Norm, the lobster rolls sounded amazing

That's what mine did. We have DVC, so I'm not planning on paying much for vacations for quite sometime. DW got her cruise this year. :faint:

Seahawks are on a roll. I think they can beat the Falcons, but don't think they could beat Packers again.

Things seem to be looking up now. His temp has been below 99.5 since about noon and he is acting somewhat normal. Hopefully tonight will be good to us.

Again... That's funny. To bad Barry ain't around.

I admit, I am in a foul mood today...Dad has been told the chemo isn't really working anymore, they need to find a new avenue to fight the cancer, and work had a few rough spots.

So after working all day, the only one here who worked, DW expected me to prep dinner, and is now mad because I am "In a mood"....I don't think I am winning today at all...:sad2:
