Hi everybody, just came back from Epcot and these are the characters that I saw:

Main Entrance:
Max replacing Goofy

World Showplace:
Cinderella
Ariel
Prince Charming
Rafiki
Baloo

American Adventure:
Mickey
Minnie
Donald
Goofy
Pluto
Pooh
Tigger
Eeyore
Rafiki
King Louie

Oh I hope Max is still there in April. We saw him a few years back, and DS has been looking for him every trip but hasn't seen him. He'd be thrilled.

Your best bet would be either American Adventure or World Showplace. Also, he might replace Goofy at the entrance so you never know!

Max frequently appears at Character Palooza when it's operating.

Lots of character fun!!

It does sound like a BUNCH of those (if not all) were characters out in training, you can find them in a bunch of places around Epcot, (smaller crowds, shorter sets, helps them not get overwhelmed!)

The little pathways behind the character spot, between it and Imagination

The big blue-ish gates between Canada & UK

The area between USA & Italy

The International Gateway

Are all areas they can be found, and it can be at any time of day, so keep your eyes peeled!a

Those are all the places that character training happens in Epcot, but there is no schedule to them you can plan to, and you're very likely to see no characters at any of those locations. Be on the lookout for sure, but don't get your hopes too high.

I hope we see Max on our trip too. We are big "A Goofy Movie" fans and the Goofy and Max segments of the Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas and Twice Upon a Christmas movies are my kids' favorites. I'm surprised that Chip and Dale aren't in the mix though.

Chip and Dale meet daily outside of Innoventions West.

The list above is in reference to the random characters that appeared TODAY, it has no affect on who will appear tomorrow. Epcot's regular/daily characters are completely unrelated.

We saw Belle in her yellow ballgown beside the Figment building (to the right of the doors when you are facing the building) when we were there last September. I was quite startled to see her there and there was no one visiting with her - serious SCORE.

She spent quite a bit of time chatting with us until people started to notice. She doesn't normally appear there, does she?
