Disney Parks " Disney Time" Sweepstakes- Any Other Winners?

Okay folks,

While we are patiently waiting for our phones to ring (yeah right) or when we need a break from chasing the FedEx drivers or manically checking our junk mail boxes...let's have a little fun.

WHEN (not IF, but WHEN) we do get those magical calls, emails or deliveries...wishful thinking goes a long way right...where would we go?

So, let's do this...
1) the World or the Land? World
2) Resort? Poly is 1st choice then Yacht Club or Contemporary
3) Package (romance, character, etc.)?Romance for signature dining and shopping spree. I guess we'll have to go to the spa too...oh, the hardships
4) Dates of travel?maybe July 24-28 if my girls play in the fastpitch World Series at WWoS that week and I think they will- in which case we'd add on 7/20-24 OR Nov 17-25 for 4 nights that week- just not sure which 4 but kids are off that whole week...have to see what the blackout dates are OR Jan 25-29 2014. Would let DH make final decision as he's more particular about crowds and when he can get away from work.

Wasn't it one of the Oprah gurus who said if you send your request up into the universe it will happen (or something like that)...I'm sending, I'm sending...

Nice day dream to get us through another LONG day of waiting...

Yes it is, that's why I am leaning toward Land, we can drive to the World, but the only way I would go to the Land is if we fly and normally budget wise that is not an option...but when we win it will be

After all our trips my DH has asked that we not vacation until 2014. Our daughter is becoming more involved in competitive equestrian riding which isn't cheap...I'm not certain that I can survive waiting until then

1- DL. We've been to the world several times, and though it's amazing..DH said he would never PAY to go to Cali. He is one of those who thinks CA is it's own world. Would love to go just once.
2-Grand Cali or Disneyland hotel
3-Happy happenings/character. DD would love that.
4-No idea. Never looked into weather patterns there or anything. I CANNOT stand extreme heat ( like WDW in summer) so preferably sometime just warm. Possibly while the Christmas decor is up.

There was a FedEx truck outside of my house today and I thought that I was going to die! He parked there and walked a few houses away to deliver something. man! I don't even know if that's one of the ways that they contact the winners this time, but still.

here are my choices though...
1. Disney World!

Just at a glance, if they really did give gift cards for the value of our choices, it looks like the Romance package would be the clear winner with Signature Dining for 4, the Water Park Fun tickets, a night out Downtown $400, and Spa experiences up to $800. That would be one awesome gift card!

I hven't read the whole thread but in a couple places i have read that there extra gift cards involved. Did any of last years winners exchange prizes for gift cards?

Me too! There were so many winners last year. I keep hoping this is my year but I would love to see others win if I don't. This is going to be a long month.

4. I'd want to go in the summer where we could add extra days easily as I'm a teacher ... Although DD turns 3 in November so it would be more cost effective to wait until she isn't free anymore! Maybe early December? Jus can't decide!

No one has called.
TWICE Fed Ex showed up today.
Once was my spring wreaths I ordered from JoAnn Fabrics.
The second was an item I had to try as part of a survey I'm doing.

My biggest thing to figure out, if I ever win, is who the 4th person would be since my 23 year old has no interest at all in WDW.

The one winner that's come on this thread was notified by phone from a 212 area code. Last year, some were notified by e-mail and FedEx as well as by phone.

My biggest thing to figure out, if I ever win, is who the 4th person would be since my 23 year old has no interest at all in WDW.

Just go 3 people and have more space in your room and more money/person on the gift card. Less to pay taxes on as well.

That's exactly what I would do. Why add a 4th? Save the money on the taxes, as you would save a lot.

I only took 3 on my OMDD trip and it worked out much better!
