Just got a letter from WDW Resorts. GREAT NEWS! The scheduled closing of the Luna Park pool is postponed until January 28. The pool will be open during our stay. YIPPEE! Oh wait. It is January. Never mind.

They did this 2 years ago when we were at BWV. Pool opened a week before our arrival and it was ice cold. My poor life.

Been to Pearson a few times, haven't had any problems. I'll test that in late March though. I am flying through there on my way to Orlando to help my FIL drive back. I land at 6:35 and have to get through customs and to my connection that leaves at 8:05. I am hoping that with just a carry-on and being very early in the morning I won't have any problems.

The fish are sunfish and something else but I can't remember what it was. Here is one of DS's huge catches.

Sounds good. If we get the Free Dining, we'll be at POR too, if not, we'll do POP. Never seen frogs around before, girls might like that, if not at least looking for them. Gotta keep an eye out for snakes though. I wouldn't mind doing the pole fishing at POR if the chance occurs..

There was an alligator over at SSR in lake by paddock. SSR thread has pictures.

I wish it'd be like ice in August, not warm soup. I guess relishing swimming in Jan and Feb is the canadian in me.

A first grade teacher explains to her class that she is a Toronto Maple Leafs fan. She asks her students to raise their hands if they were Maple Leafs fans, too. Not really knowing what a Maple Leafs fan was, but wanting to be like their teacher, hands explode into the air. There is, however, one exception. A girl named Mary has not gone along with the crowd. The teacher asks her why she has decided to be different. "Because I'm not a Maple Leafs fan." "Then," asks the teacher, "what are you?" "Why I'm proud to be a Philadelphia Flyers fan.", boasts the little girl. The teacher is a little perturbed now, her face slightly red. She asks Mary why she is a Flyers fan. "Well, My Dad and Mom are Flyers fans, and I'm a Flyers fan, too!" The teacher is now angry. "That's no reason," she says loudly. "What if your mom was a moron, and your dad was a moron, What would you be then?" A pause, and a smile. "Then," says Mary, "I'd be a Maple Leafs fan."

Classic, around Nashville we used that one for red wings fans, but it's not the effective when your team hasn't won a Stanley cup haha

I'm in! It's nice to know I'm not the only Dad who get's the Magic and the beers around the world in Epcot!

I've been going to Disneyworld since 1974, but I didn't truly get it until I brought my daughter to It's a small world the first time in 2003 for her 1st birthday. Hard to explain to someone what seeing Disney through your kids eyes is like. Now she has been to Disneyworld 9 times, a Disney Cruise, and Disneyland...I have created a true blue die hard Disney fan, and she doesn't even like the Princess's. We are headed back for her 10th visit in 5 weeks, and her brother's 6th.

Happy to hear there are other Disney Dads like me roaming around out there
