CK Manchester

I know I've been missing in action-life has been a whirl. I am trying to catch up and will start with the annual CK Manchester trip.

Early registration started today, open registration starts tomorrow at 1:00 pm.

Who is in? My van is already full with a CT contigent. I'll do a list of who is going, when arriving, and what classes, if any, one is taking.

Hope to see some of my DIS friends there.

Mom and I will put in an appearance probably. We are both doing the weekend crop with Jen a few weeks earlier. Personally I thought the class selection STUNK this year. So Shopping will be all we are doing. Lisa I'm assuming it will be sat that you're all headed up?

I was pretty excited about the class selection this year - and I'd have to stay for a couple nights to get them all in.

Not sure if we might be in Georgia for the month of April, though, exploring our potential new home AND we leave for Florida on May 1, so I'm thinking I should save my ducats for that.

My fear about NOT going to CKC is always "this might be the last one ever", at the rate stores and product lines are going out of business.

So put me down as 'maybe'.

I'm glad others are liking the classes. If there are to many like me we'd definately loose it. I think alot of it is I just need to get stuff done and use what I've got so nothing really jumped out at me.

off to work so I can earn money for this got to see where it falls with paydays too.

so as of right now no classes for mom or I. we will be down there abt 8. so we can enjoy a few mins before the madness of the the floor starts. I know many of you have my cell but if anyone needs it let me know. I might even dig out an old Disboards scrap tee from 3(?) years ago!

Registered for 2 classes - The "What's For dinner Recipe" one at 10 am and the "Disney Mania" one at 11:30.
No, I will not have a herniated disk this yr to stop me (sure hope not)and I look forward to my time spent with you ladies.

We ended up going down to DC with Dad. It was an awesome experience!!

I'm still looking at dates for CKC, need to see what the HS track schedule is and talk to the hubby.

Very disappointing. I had signed up for one of their classes- How to Gift a Gift Card. I haven't heard anything from CK that the class has been cancelled. Hopefully a credit will be given as my charge card has been charged.

Still no notice from CK on this nor did I see anything on dollarscrapbooking.net's website. I will be very disappointed if CK does not credit my account on this cancelled class.

Lisa have you tried emailing them?? cause I looked a bit ago and the class was still listed. I can't imagine them being that poor of a business that they wouldn't update.

Maybe it's just a matter of economics for them; they can afford to send someone to teach the class but can't afford to send all the stuff and staff necessary to exhibit. I know that is what October Afternoon does for Scrapfest; even though they are a local MN company, they only teach classes at Scrapfest but don't man a booth or do make and takes because they simply don't have the staff to do it.

Christy, I checked too. That is why the scenario seems so strange to me. I think lynner is into something with her suggestion.
