I'm trying to do that too. We didn't get the table undone, maybe I'll take an interim pic. I'm working on Bills and catching up on TRs right now. A bunch of people did updates in the last couple days and I've been busy with Darcy. She takes Sunday off and Fran is sleeping so I'm getting work done.

I have to go out later and pick up prescriptions and serve a 3 day notice unless the dead beat has paid his rent!

I spent like half and hour on my phone trying to reply and gave up and just made dinner!

Jim is at home, but he has to take at least a week off of work. They are working him to the bone. Darcy got him a pedometer and he walks 8-11 miles per day and works from 4AM until 3PM 5-6 days a week.

I went over to serve the notice, but he had paid his rent. That's OK, he'll be moving soon. We let him move in at reduced rent so that he would do some chores around the building. Then against both our better judgements we let him do the gardening. Just before we left for my parents, we fired him from both and increased his rent by $600 per month.

He called and cried and Fran gave him an additional 30 days on the reduced rent, but not only does his rent go up but he has to pay us the security deposit by March 1st. There is no way he can do that, so he will be out of there soon.

That's a shame about the tenant; but at least that means an opportunity to get someone else who pays on time in.


I'm Dissing between taking down the decorations off the Christmas tree. I'm nearly done with most of it; only the lights left. And that will take forever because I like to leave it in a state that is tangle free for next year.

Well, it's sad because I had become friendly with him as he was our Handyman for probably ten years. He just was such a flake and he didn't know what he was doing, he was able to hide it from us for so long and we finally figured it out.

We will gut the place and rennovate it like the other two in that building and rent it for a few hundred dollars more per month. At least we will be able to pick out a tenant that we like instead of our stupid handyman.

I know what you mean about the lights. Whenever I put up decorations, I make sure that they are put away properly and it takes so much longer to do it right than just do it. Good luck!
