2013 Limited Time Magic

Really? I can't believe their marketing machine could mess that up!!!!

Did you notice this line of fine print at the bottom?

"Offerings and experiences are subject to change without notice."

Maybe they changed their minds. I was hoping for a little magic during our early Feb trip since several rides are closed for refurbishment. Most of the things they announced in advance were during times that were already busy like valentines day and Fourth of July when they usually have special fireworks, etc. I'll keep checking, but I feel a little bad for this week's guests if their extra magic is just opportunity to buy more merchandise. Course I am sure some who collect ear hats will be pleased!

Have to wait and see. I did take 52 weeks of limited time magic to mean something every week, but a lawyer I am not.

Maybe

Mm

We can hope it will be some kind of ADs for this

So what's the big #LimitedTimeMagic celebration this week? Was it those benches spotted near Tomorrowland?

Mark Diba @Dibadisney
Week 14: Its Pi Day! Buy a slice of homemade pie at Main Street Bakery! Only $5.99/slice! #LimitedTimeMagic

We were there this past week and happened to see the New Years party from the TTA. So decided to check it out. Ended up spending 4 hours there on that night dancing and having a good time. Went back on Saturday night for another 4 hours to end our vacation dancing with Elvis stitch and chip and dale. Didn't plan on doing this when we planned our vacation but enjoyed it so much that the kids hope they have something just as fun when we go back.

These cracked me up.

Apparently, Disney is taking the "Limited" part of Limited Time Magic very seriously.

Sad... but this is Hilarious!!!! Almost makes me want to us twitter again. LOL

Pie should be $3.14 on PI day. Just sayin... ;).

Maybe the cast member responsible for week 2 had the flu like me and stayed home? I don't mind so much, means I'll probably be all healthy by beginning of Feb for my trip.

Well the blog site has kinda been updated, they have took the new years party off and just left the hats up...

This is very disappointing. I understand cutbacks, but this was a real opportunity to make money using theme weeks which require a minimum investment to draw more crowds. If they advertised that they were bringing back the Canadian pavilions beaver tails I'm sure a few more people would show up just to have them again. Really it's as simple as bringing back an old recipe or two, dusting off an old character costume, or posting children's drawings from local schools or hospitals. It doesn't take a huge investment to create some magic that will bring in crowds.

I was really looking forward to seeing some limited time magic on my vacation in 10 days, now I wonder if there will be any effort put in at all.

I could be wrong but a lot of people would be tickle with special meet and greets bringing back characters that are no longer daily- you wouldn't think that would cost a lot and tickle a lot of guests

I agree! Love this idea!

I can't se the letters "UTK" and "VOL" without knowing there is another VFL on this board! Go Vols!

And just to be fair, DISNEY WORLD is dropping the ball. Disneyland's next event (which starts Thursday, as opposed to the three day event last weekend) sounds great!

How about a positive spin on the Limited Time Magic? What would you like to see for limited time magic?

I'd enjoy a forties week (maybe the 40th week of the year?) with showings of classic Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse cartoons, and maybe a special retro parade with antique vehicles and old fashioned floats.
