Our family of six just did the 5 night double dip NYE cruise. It was amazing. For NYE there was a big party on deck with live music, free champagne and non alcoholic cider. They also had hats, noisemakers and fireworks at midnight(none on pirate night). The dining rooms all had lobster night that night. Other thoughts:
1. The Dream was definitely noticeably bigger than the classic ships but didn't feel overly crowded. And it was a full ship. Just avoid the mid ship elevators at show/dinner time.
2. The weather was cool/very windy onboard and especially our first cc day. I wore a sweatshirt to read on the beach. But I was reading on the beach!
3. The crew was outstanding. My dd13 actually asked if everyone had always been so friendly on our cruises. I said yes and she decided she was finally old enough to appreciate it.
4. Still waiting for our rebooking offer. Computer was down the last night so they said they would call within 10 days.
5. Finally tried the rainforest room. Wow. Why did I wait so long?
It was a wonderful trip. Any questions?
