stayed at in Vegas

1. Mirage - Clean, fun and nice, great location, hip but not over run with young people

2. Pairs- Great Location, I love the ceiling at the Casino, great restaurants

3. Treasure Island - another fun hotel, I could spend hours watching people ride the mechanical bull, hip bars/restaurants

4. MGM - So dang clean, luxurious and the coolest outside, but a bit to far up the strip

5. MGM Signiture - every room is a suite and has Jacuzzi in every room, but you feel like your to far from the action

6. Harrahs - nice place, but just anit up to par with the other Hotels mentioned

staying at Czars Palace in January, I just cant wait

1. Flamingo - GO rooms are super cute, perfect location.

2. NY, NY - nice rooms, nice casino - just far at the end of the Strip

3. Monte Carlo - not a bad hotel, just not a great hotel or great location.

4. Tropicana - just don't stay there.

I was at a comedy club at Tropicana, while I liked it, the hotel was a dump:rotfl:, next on my list is the GO rooms at Flamingo. I thought about Monte Carlo a few times, its just so so huh ?

1. Encore
2. Wynn
3. Bellagio
4. THE Hotel at Mandalay Bay
5. Paris
6. The Venetian

thanks, you need to plan a small 2-3 day trip, you could get some great prices if you look around
When I do go I hope to go for at least 7 days. I would go right now but my Dad is 90 yrs old and in a nursing home. I go to see him every other day to make sure he is getting enough water (he won't drink enough on his own) and that they are taking good care of him. It is a constant battle to keep urinary infections away.

ETA: I'm not complaining :) I'm glad I am able to help him.

I never stayed at the Venetian but it seems real nice, why is it not up with the rest of them on your list ?

7 days is long for vegas, lots to do but I found 4-5 days to be a good amount of time.Keeping care of our elderly parents is so hard, he is lucky he has a good daughter

Thank you :) You are right it is not always easy, he also has some dementia not real bad yet but it is there. :(

We would rent a car for a day or so and also drive to Hover Dam, etc. And we also like to have a day of rest. LOL Both retired so wouldn't have to rush a trip.

The rooms at The Venetian were terrific- suite-style, with the living area sunken, huge baths with televisions, very comfy and plush. I woud definitely stay there again!

I didn't care for the Venetian - its just TOO BIG. The room itself was nice - but the place was huge and the walk to the room was LLLLLOOONNNGGGG. That's why it was at the bottom of my list.

1) The Venetian - just a beautiful hotel, loved the large room.

2) Caesars Palace - got upgraded to one of the new towers so it was a beautiful, large room. Have also stayed in one of the older towers and it was just OK. I stayed here multiple times for work and always enjoyed my stay.

3) NYNY - my go-to hotel. I love the atmosphere and my favorite night spot, the Bar at Times Square (best dueling pianos!!).

4) Luxor - Enjoyed the theme and the crazy sloped elevators. Walking the hallways upstairs was kind of freaky though when you looked over the railing(nothing directly below you until you hit the ground floor, LOL).

5) Mirage - OK, nothing special but I do like the casino here

6) TI - this ones ties with the Mirage...just same thing with a different name.

7) Riviera - got stuck staying here for a conference. Room was just OK but location was terrible and everything was just...well...old.

I also stayed at the Flamingo but it was so long ago that I can't even remember if I liked it or not :rotfl2:

Just got back from Cesar Palace, i did the 20 dollar trick and got upgraded to a room twice the size as the one I booked, with a Jacuzzi, and on the 40th floor over looking the strip, definitely the best room I ever had in my life

Bellagio- Awesome hotel

Desert Rose - That is the only place I stay now. Very quiet, full free breakfast, 1 and 2 bedrooms, laundry, BBQ, Pool and Jacuzzi and the gym. Walking distance to MGM and that end of the strip

The Luxor is fabulous

Has anyone ever stated at Vdara or Aria? We were thinking about Paris or the Luxor. Still can't decide.

Its hard to get to the strip from Artia and Vdara, even thought there on the strip, and I dont think either as a casino in them. I would go with Pairs or Luxor both god picks, if all be equal stay at Paris, its center strip, and easy to get to any place

1. Mirage (tower suite)
2. Venetian
3. Mirage
4. T.I.

We have been four times and stay at the Mirage every time with a split stay somewhere else. DH loves the Mirage and especially it's location and the ease of getting to the Strip.
