That sounds like and AMAZING Thanksgiving to me !! Wow !! I know you must be excited. We stayed at the Boardwalk last Thanksgiving and I REALLY enjoyed staying there during the holiday. Lots to see and do and the Boardwalk was hopping !!!

DD#2 is actually turning 7 on the 29th so its a birthday trip. She loves the BWV's! She and DD#1, who will be 8, love the performers on the BW. She got to pick resort and I love saving points on the stan view at 11 months out so everyone is happy. I know what you mean about staying at a more quiet resort, we have learned to love OKW. Stayed there the last 2 trips and loved the removed location!

I do like the quieter resorts, but staying at BWV and being in the middle of everything was just awesome. We stay there again in January for my birthday. Can't wait to go back !!!

Hey...:wave2:

I just followed your trip report link over from mine... and I'm going to have to go back to catch up... (or hopefully read it before it gets locked but... I'm a pretty quick reader...:goodvibes...

I'm looking forward to find out what your title means...:scratchin

Subbing on...popcorn::

So I've been reading during my lunch and I got through page 8...:goodvibes

Lot's of comments in no particular order...

I'm really sorry about your ankle...:worried: that sounds really uncomfortable and makes it hard to get around... My brother hurt his ankle a couple of months ago...(he was being ridiculous testing a trampoline at a party place for my nephew and he came down really awkwardly on it...) I'm hoping your more mended at this point...

I was chuckling a bit about Waffle House...DD and I had done a Southern College Road trip through VA, NC & GA... and we noticed more Waffle Houses but also just more waffles in general... We like waffles... we just haven't seen them as much in PA... we wound up having them 3 out of 4 days.... We were wondering if there was some Southern connection...

I'm sure that DH likes Disney as much as you... but you make a good cover for him... :goodvibes

Your children seem very sweet... my DS has the Goofy hat your DD has... but then again he has 3 Goofy hats... obviously his favorite Character...

I've recently seen SSR in several trip reports... It really looks nice... I'd like to stay there sometime... & its really nice to have that ferrry to DTD...

It looks like your Family made some nice purchases... I happen to have a soft spot for Vanellope (sp?) ... I thought she was a great girl role model....

Have never had bad food at WPE... need to go this summer...

Disney Quest looks like a lot of fun...

Soarin is an awesome attraction... :goodvibes Love Fast Passes....::yes::

(Think I'm going to be spending a lot more time in Epcot-Future World...in the future... just so much stuff DS wants to do there... He's a definite Science Guy dude...

Hurray for Dismeets...:cool1:

YAY !! Thanks for coming over to read and to say Hi !! :wave2:

I am better, but still have 6 weeks of physical therapy ahead of me. It has been six months and I am no where near back to normal. We have a short trip in January coming up and I will have to have a scooter again.

I was chuckling a bit about Waffle House...DD and I had done a Southern College Road trip through VA, NC & GA... and we noticed more Waffle Houses but also just more waffles in general... Maybe it is more of a southern thing. I am pretty sure their corporate office is in Charlotte, so maybe they are based mainly in the Southeast. I like the food there.

I'm sure that DH likes Disney as much as you... but you make a good cover for him... :goodvibes

I am so happy he likes it as much as me. He is the one that jumped right on the DVC thing. I was shocked when he wanted to sign up so fast. I was like "quick, sign the paper before he changes his mind" :rotfl:

Your children seem very sweet... my DS has the Goofy hat your DD has... but then again he has 3 Goofy hats... obviously his favorite Character...

Her's is a Pluto hat. She loves Pluto !! She even had him sign it while we were there.

I've recently seen SSR in several trip reports... It really looks nice... I'd like to stay there sometime... & its really nice to have that ferrry to DTD...

It is very nice. Very quiet and peaceful and pretty. We really like it there.

It looks like your Family made some nice purchases... I happen to have a soft spot for Vanellope (sp?) ... I thought she was a great girl role model....

DD loves, loves, LOVES that movie. That doll is hilarious. I says all kinds of funny things that Vanellope says in the movie. DD can't wait to meet Vanellope and Ralph at HS when we go back in a couple of weeks.

Have never had bad food at WPE... need to go this summer...

It never disappoints. I need to broaden my horizons and try something new there. But that meatloaf is SOOOOO good !!

Disney Quest looks like a lot of fun...

The kids really enjoyed it. I could take it or leave it.

Soarin is an awesome attraction... :goodvibes Love Fast Passes....::yes::

My favorite ride EVER !!!

(Think I'm going to be spending a lot more time in Epcot-Future World...in the future... just so much stuff DS wants to do there... He's a definite Science Guy dude...

They have some really cool stuff to do at Innoventions if you take the time. I always want to get over to World Showcase and get my Grey Goose Slushie !!

Hurray for Dismeets...:cool1:

It was so great meeting her. I hope to meet some other dissers on my next trip !!

Finally finished reading. With the holidays and people being sick around here I have fallen behind. Glad you had a good trip. I understand the ankle thing. I have to go for an MRI on mine now. I seem to have tendon damage and may be facing surgery myself. How did you like your scooter company? Now that they have preferred companies I may be looking to change who I use. Walker is a great company but not preferred. :(

Looking forward to the next trip.

I like Apple Scooter. The first time we used them, we had a bad battery. But they brought one to us in Downtown Disney and it took about 15 minutes. After that, we never had a problem with them again. I would recommend them.

I really hope you don't have to have surgery on your ankle. It is the most painful thing I have gone through and the recovery takes FOREVER. It has been almost four months since my surgery and I am at maybe 50%-60% of use. I can walk and get around some, but I can't go far. I still experience a great deal of pain and swelling and have to rely on 1-2 painkillers a day and I have to ice 2-3 times a day. I also have 6 more weeks of physical therapy. The whole thing is exhausting. Recovery is VERY slow. So I have my fingers crossed for you that it is something that will heal on its own or that you just need a scope and not the tendon repair. Good luck !!!

Ok... just read through page 14...am enjoying your TR very much BTW...

Not to sound like I just fell off the turnip truck and in my defense I have a horrible head cold... but just what is photo bombing?

Garden Grill looks like fun...love that it turns and the food looks good too...:thumbsup2

Osbourne lights are just heavenly... loved your photos... Don't you think that it's just hard to explain unless you're there?:cloud9:

DHS Segway tour sounds like so much fun...doesn't he know inquiring Dis minds want to see photos...:lmao:

Animal Kingdom is such a photogenic park... love your photos of the gorillas/trail...

Think that Characters look so cute in their Christmas & Safari outfits...It was a great idea having Pluto sign DD's hat...

So sorry about your bad experience in Grand Californian Cafe... it's such a pretty restaurant in a gorgeous resort... the food should match...::yes::

So How big is the Basin in the GF? I love Basin and it's nice to know there's one there...

I love that DS rode RnRC 3 times in a row...I rode it once for the first time last month and I was feeling proud of myself...:lmao:

I NEED a carrotcake cookie... carrot cake, cream cheese frosting...all good...:thumbsup2

Yay !! thanks so much for sticking with it. I really enjoy writing them. It makes me feel like my trip has been extended. It is like an online scrapbook.

I can't think when I am sick either. I know what you mean. Photo bombing is when someone is getting their photo taken and someone else in the crowd jumps into the background to get into the photo. I was funny watching that lady do it.

We have had two Thanksgiving dinners there and have enjoyed each one. We really like it.

Osbourne lights are just heavenly... loved your photos... Don't you think that it's just hard to explain unless you're there?:cloud9:

I agree. You can take all of the photos you want and try to explain it. But nothing beats being there and experiencing their awesomeness

DHS Segway tour sounds like so much fun...doesn't he know inquiring Dis minds want to see photos...:lmao:

For realz. Apparently, it is difficult to drive a Segway and take photos at the same time. Who knew ??? LOL.

Animal Kingdom is such a photogenic park... love your photos of the gorillas/trail...

Thanks. I just love how it is decorated. Some people just don't appreciate that, I think.

Think that Characters look so cute in their Christmas & Safari outfits...It was a great idea having Pluto sign DD's hat...

They really do. She was so pumped about Pluto signing her hat.

So sorry about your bad experience in Grand Californian Cafe... it's such a pretty restaurant in a gorgeous resort... the food should match...::yes::

It was really bad. When we got home we discovered our waitress did in fact charge our credit card $187 PLUS the $27 tip, PLUS $50, PLUS deducting 4 dining credits. DH got it all sorted out, but what a pain. We won't be back there anytime soon.

So How big is the Basin in the GF? I love Basin and it's nice to know there's one there...

It is pretty small. The one at Downtown Disney is much bigger. About 3 times the size. I love all of the stuff they have.

I love that DS rode RnRC 3 times in a row...I rode it once for the first time last month and I was feeling proud of myself...:lmao:

I read about that in your TR. I was proud of myself for riding Tower of Terror, but I am not in any hurry to ride it again.

I NEED a carrotcake cookie... carrot cake, cream cheese frosting...all good...:thumbsup2

OMG !! You do need one !! They are soooo good !! And you can get coffee there, too. Very important !!

I just finished and I realized you're going back this month? Lucky you...:cool1:

I'm glad you enjoyed your meal at Le Cellier- I think I may be the only Diser who hasn't been there for a whole variety of scheduling conflicts, etc... two bad it is going up to 2 credits for Lunch or I would have tried for a lunch for our July trip... Your lunch looked lovely...

So glad you made the opening show at MK... doesn't it just make you smile?

I think the new Fantasyland is awesome and I can even imagine when they finish the 7 Dwarves Roller Coaster...:goodvibes The queuing for the LM ride is lovely and it looks like you got a great Ariel...

Gaston looks like a totally hoot... We need to seek him out in the summer...

Colombia Harbor House is one of my faves for CS in MK... it somehow feels a little more out of the way than some of the other CS plus it has some different options...

Your trip was fabulous and I can't wait to hear about this new birthday trip...:goodvibes

Yes. In just five days !! YAY !!!

We consistently have had good experiences there. I hate that they are going to 2 credits. I hope it is an epic fail and they go back to one credit after this year.

So glad you made the opening show at MK... doesn't it just make you smile?

It really does. I am so glad we finally made it. DD was singing that song just the other day.

I think the new Fantasyland is awesome and I can even imagine when they finish the 7 Dwarves Roller Coaster...:goodvibes The queuing for the LM ride is lovely and it looks like you got a great Ariel...

I love all of the new stuff and I can't wait to see it all finished. The new Tangled area, too. Because I am really tired of seeing construction and scrims in my Disney photos !! LOL.

Gaston looks like a totally hoot... We need to seek him out in the summer...

He was stinkin' hilarious !! I highly suggest seeking him and just hanging around to watch his antics. Some of the little kids weren't too sure of him, though.

We almost always eat there when we go to MK. Always a winner with us.

Thanks so much for reading and stopping by to comment. I really enjoyed your posts and I hope to see you on my next TR. Which will be SOON !!
