Does anyone know if there is soft serve ice cream at the Lodge (like in Roaring Fork)? I cannot remember and my DS really really REALLY loved getting ice cream when we stayed at GF. If not soft serve, do they at least have some mickey bars or something?

What is the purpose of the lodgers log?
Anyway, we will be staying in WL for the 1st time. It's my husband, myself and 5 kids. My youngest is an infant. We are staying in the Deluxe Room. Also, it's our 1st trip to have club access. I am beyond excited!

Dates are feb. 9th - 16th.

The Lodgers' Log is in the last post of the first page of information. It's where I log the dates and resorts of thread subscribers who want to be logged. It's a way to see if other DISers will be at WDW during your dates. If you'd like to be listed, just let me know.

i was a bad boy.........i called disney last night and changed our ressie.....




just dropped 1 last night at WL in favor of CR TPV for our last night.....we are so over the top excited about this "tweak". Was i a bad boy????? for shunning our beloved WL on the last night and departure day......

Well, if you were a bad boy then I was a bad girl because in August we stayed at both BLT and WL/CL. CR has always been a favorite of ours (in fact, I've been working on the new CR/BLT thread). As far as I'm concerned, you aren't shunning WL, you are simply expanding your MK resort repertoire. Besides, you are still staying on Bay Lake!

Kook, can you put us down for 11/17 - 11/23 . The family voted lodge only, and we settled on a 1bdrm in the Villas. I am rather excited about the in room washer/dryer.

It's official! You're the last name on the Lodgers' Log - for now. Are you planning anything special at WDW in celebration of your 30th? (Other than your trip, of course)

Just gonna have some special dinner reservations at some of the resturants and MVMCP maybe a spa day for me and a fishing excursion for him...
Just be glad to be there...

Just booked our Aug stay!! We had to drop 3 days as it interfered with my nieces bday but still
12 nights 13 days CL is still pretty amazing! We do have 3 other trips booked (AoA, FW cabin and Pop) try to spread it around a bit but those are just for 6/8 and 5 nights

Hi again! Another crazy WL question from my over-worrying brain! I had read that we shouldn't do/didn't need to do online checkin if we were CL. But I also saw that now OIC is at 60 days in prep for FP+. I don't know if I would want to miss out on that if I didn't do OIC, but I don't want to mess anything up by doing it when I wasn't supposed to. Yes.....I have definitely been over-thinking this!

I don't have an answer for you, but regarding the 60 day checkin I have has zero luck with it so far. I'm not sure it's actually working yet.

Fugget abouit - go ahead and do it, it will never "hurt" to do it when staying CL, it just doesn't substitute contacting the IPO with any room location requests you might have.

You gotta understand this is such a great place to hang out!

So with the new offer that came out yesterday we booked a cabin at FW in May for 8 nights to celebrate my sons bday! Pretty excited to try two new resorts this year

it's true Disney...and I love the peacefulness of wl. You can't get that on the monorail loop..imho

Hubs even said wl is his favorite pool..next to the hard rock..so I may squeeze 2 universal nights for him..the beach..the campfire...I'm so excited!!!!

I love the WL! It's hard to stay away, lol!

But, I'm holding tight for now.....lurking commence!
