3 Families doin' a Surf & Turf Trip! AKL CL & Dream...Good-Byes

Alex! The bartender is Alex! And you are right- she is AWESOME!!! Such a doll! We all became FB friends with her after our last cruise- can't wait to see her again. :)

Your TR is so much fun to read- thank you!

Yay :cool1: Just got home from Whistler today, and see a new update  Only 6 mos since trip? :thumbsup2 hahaha. Restaurant looks amazing. Love the headdresses! Jessee doesn't look too worried about his brother!

Hope you had a great Christmas & New Years. We had Christmas at home, then took off for Whistler. It was truly a winter wonderland. Unfortunately a nasty cold was making it's way around school, and I bought it home for the Holidays :( I was sick at Christmas, youngest daughter and hubs got it for New years

Youngest daughter also blew up her car engine day after Christmas  something about not checking oil!!! That will do it. So she has our SUV while her's is getting fixed :rolleyes2 Kids! Wait for it!!! Your turn will come :rolleyes1

Almost time for our next WDW trip Heather! Oldest daughter & I will be at POFQ for 10 nights, leaving for Ft. Lauderdale 1/19, then up to WDW 1/23. woohoo! Maybe you'll finish your TR by then :rotfl: or not! :santa: My plan is to figure out what I want to bring, get it laid out, washed, etc and ready to pack before school starts 1/7. My mantra is "I will not over pack" lol, we'll see if I succeed for once!

What a gorgeous restaurant and a fun dinner.

The Royal Palace is so beautiful! Great idea to go and see it when nobody is around, you got some great photos that way. Your waitstaff also seems incredible! They really went all out with the kids and with your parents anniversary - very nice to see :)

I wish I had done that with Animator's Palate and The Enchanted Garden. I think I made a few pictures, but nothing quite as detailed....not sure why:confused3  The Head Waiter was incredible...if we made a request, he got it done.

Wow! Royal Palace is beautiful!! Can't wait to see it!! Love all of your updates. . .makes me so excited to go!!

Each restaurant is so very different and offers something special. While I really loved the elegant decor of Royal Palace, Animator's Palate was lots of fun....kinda reminded me of Turtle Talk with Crush at Epcot. If possible, try and ask for a table next to one of the big screens. Crush will come out an chat with your table....very cool!

What a great dinner! Y'all really had a great table location.

Excellent location! They must have known that the kids were going to be super crazy that night  There was another family in that room, too....I kinda felt bad for them at times especially towards the end of dinner when things got loud.

That was so sweet of them to celebrate your mom & dad's anniversary! And that it too funny about your dad planting one on your mom. I bet that really did get all the grandkids! :rotfl2:

My dad is always doing something for shock value....it's to be expected.

The headdresses are hilarious! I can only imagine how wound up the kids were by the time y'all left. But, it's a night they'll never forget! :goodvibes

I hope yall get great waiters on the Fantasy!....it can almost make or break a cruise, ya know. Did you ever decide on early or late dining? I have a feeling Reid will really enjoy this cruise since he's older.

Wow, talk about a great table!! You looked like you and your family were having the time of your lives!;)

We were! Our family isn't what you would call "shy", so we enjoy chatting with the wait staff whether it be at WDW or the cruise ;)

Alex! The bartender is Alex! And you are right- she is AWESOME!!! Such a doll! We all became FB friends with her after our last cruise- can't wait to see her again. :)

Your TR is so much fun to read- thank you!

YOU'RE RIGHT!!! Her name is Alex....how funny that you know her! She's an excellent bartender. Not only can she make a mean drink, but she's got the right personality for the job.

Glad you're enjoying our adventures....never a dull moment with 11 people :laughing

Yay :cool1: Just got home from Whistler today, and see a new update  Only 6 mos since trip? :thumbsup2 hahaha. Restaurant looks amazing. Love the headdresses! Jessee doesn't look too worried about his brother!

Jesse doesn't take anything from Stephen....no fear whatsoever. He might be 6 years younger, but he holds his own!

You're kidding?!!! Sick?! Not fun during the holidays. Hopefully Whistler made up for it. My kids are forever wanting it to snow! "Ain't" gonna happen in South Georgia, and if it does...maybe an inch...nothing substantial.

Youngest daughter also blew up her car engine day after Christmas  something about not checking oil!!! That will do it. So she has our SUV while her's is getting fixed :rolleyes2 Kids! Wait for it!!! Your turn will come :rolleyes1

Oh my word! Not good! Those days will be here before I know, and I can't say I'm looking forward to it. I have a sneaky suspicion that Jesse will be the one to do us in.....

Almost time for our next WDW trip Heather! Oldest daughter & I will be at POFQ for 10 nights, leaving for Ft. Lauderdale 1/19, then up to WDW 1/23. woohoo! Another trip!!!??? Not fair (can you picture me pouting?) The crowds should be really low during that time...maybe a bit cold......no, wait.....not cold for y'all ;) And will my TR be finished???:confused3 My guess would be NO :teeth:

And you said, "I will not over pack"......doubtful!

What a gorgeous restaurant and a fun dinner.

You're trip will be here before you know it!!! Lots of fun is waiting for y'all!!!

When I changed our cruise reservation to the June 1st Eastern sailing, the only thing they had available was late dining. I have thought about getting us waitlisted but I'm just not sure.

At first, I thought it would be ok. But, I started having a mini-panic attack last night as I was doing some research. I'm wondering if he'll need to nap to stay up later at night. And if so, how will that impact us viewing the shows before dinner?

Y'all did late dining, right? If so, how did you work it out for the kids, especially Jesse?

Sounds like an awesome dinner. Love the photos of the restaurant-thanks for sharing.

You guys lot some fantastic family photos too, looks like it was well worth wrangling everyone. :goodvibes

Yay an update!! :yay: Royal Palace is such a beautiful restaurant! It looks like you all had a wonderful time! Your waiter seems like he did an awesome job especially with the kids, it's so important to keep them happy and going, especially during a meal :rotfl: and what a nice anniversary surprise for your parents!
Hope you and your family had wonderful holidays!! :goodvibes

From how you describe your Jesse, yup, he will be the one :rotfl:

I'll be happy if its in the 70's in Florida while I'm there. And hope there isn't a cold snap. Last January was great. Mid to high 70's. very nice. Some January's has been down right cold, ESP 2 yrs ago, longest cold snap ever. Or was it 3 hrs ago :scared1::rolleyes: lucky us, we arrived during the tail end, so most of our trip was good weather.

I'm ready for some fun in the sun!

Nice to see an update Heather :wave2: Miss ya girl

Hope all is well with your family. I see that your ticker is displaying the Poly...how long will this last???? ;)

We did late dining, and surprisingly enough, they all did great! My sister's son Jonah is 4, and he did wonderfully. When we do another cruise, I'll definitely book the late seating. I was a little concerned before we went because I thought the kids might be cranky and hungry by 8pm. No problems, though, since you can get food at anytime during the day.

"Wrangling" is a good word and described our situation well

We did have a great holiday! Today is the last of our days off:sad2:...the kids are not happy about that....back to school on Monday....back to the real world. Luckily it's a beautiful day outside so they can play all afternoon.

From how you describe your Jesse, yup, he will be the one :rotfl:

I know :sad2: thanks for reminding me...lucky us

I'm ready for some fun in the sun!

Me,too....unfortunately my fun in the sun will be comprised of swinging in the backyard and playing tetherball

On a serious note, I'm excited for yall! :thumbsup2

:lmao: neither does hubs

....shocker popcorn::

GOOD NEWS! GOOD NEWS!!! Check out my ticker!!! 21 days until we head to the MK!!!

Bill is such a sweetheart:lovestruc....believe it or not, this was his idea to surprise Faith for her birthday. I wanted to take her to Atlanta and do the American Girl Hotel package...he says "Why don't we just go to WDW for the weekend?" ....I couldn't get on the computer fast enough to price out rooms

Port Orleans, Royal Guest room is what I booked. Bill had a 30% off pin code....why let it go to waste :confused3

I'm just a little excited....:teeth:

What a great birthday surprise!! Faith is going to love it. And those Royal Rooms look so cute. Enjoy!

How cool is that! Will the boys be going too?

Loved the Royal Palace update. That was my favorite restaurant. I agree, waiters can make or break the cruise. Awesome how they entertained the kids.
