Hello,

Just wondering if anyone has stayed in Cinderella's castle? How does one leave if needed if you are in the park after hours? Kids want to try but I'm not so sure....

The only way you are going to have the chance is to win a stay in a contest. If you do, there is a concierge that is there all night and if you need to leave they will escort you out.

Staying in the castle is one of the new incentives for buying DVC direct.
Seriously? At best they'll enter you in a drawing/contest... but to give every single direct buyer this is crazy.

Even though resale is popular in this board. Majority of buyers still buy direct.

i stayed there before. i know walt personally and he rolled back over in his grave and gave me the keys.

OMG that would be so awesome to stay in the castle! Anyone know of any contests going on that involve night in castle?

So far, I haven't seen one iota of supporting documentation regarding this nor have I been able to find any on my own, and I consider my Google abilities about as good as anybody's.

Don't anyone hear worry about staying in the castle. I have just purchased the castle and I will be moving in permanently. No further information is available. Just accept you will never stay in my castle, EVER.

The Cinderella Castle Suite was built as part of the Year of a Million Dreams campaign that ran from October 2006 to December 2008. During that period, Disney picked one random family each day and invited them to spend the night in the castle. As a previous poster indicated, there was a concierge assigned to the family and they were escorted into and out of the park as they desired.

Since the end of the Year of a Million Dreams campaign, to my knowledge, this suite has not been in use. Disney may occassionally use it for VIPs or under special circumstances, but there's no way for a normal guest to reserve and book a stay in the castle. A suite at the Grand Floridian is upwards of $2K per night. Believe me, you wouldn't want to pay whatever price they'd set for the suite in Cinderella Castle even if it was possible to book it.

What is available to you is a room with a view of the Magic Kingdom (and Cinderella Castle) at the Contemporary, Polynesian, or Grand Floridian resorts. You can also check into the Princess Suites at the Port Orleans Resort. Since you're posting in a Disney Vacation Club forum, the one that would be most applicable here is Bay Lake Tower, which is the DVC component of the Contemporary Resort. There are DVC villas at BLT with a Theme Park View that allows you to see the castle from your room.

Tom Cruise and Suri stayed in the castle suite last summer. I know this because I read it in People magazine.

So all we have to do is contact Tom Cruise and find out how he did it. Anyone got his phone number?

See, there's your problem right there. You're using "Google". You should be using "Bing".

Bing! and decide.

My family got to cruise around world showcase in a Test Track car for the rest of the day for being the millionth rider.
My son asked which of us was the millionth and the CM immediately said "you all are". Never underestimate the magic of Disney.
