Wow, been waiting for months and I too just booked 7:20 for 06Feb. Guess we will see you then. So if I diet like crazy for the next month, it's cool to pig out on milk, cookies and pies there right?

This sounds about right to me! :)

My daughter and I will be there the 7th too! I'm surprising her, she doesn't even know the dessert party exists! :goodvibes[/QUOTE

We will be a family of 5, me, hubby, my 17 year old son who is 6'2", my 14 year old dd and of course the birthday boy turning 7. I am hoping I remember to pack birthday hats for us to wear so if you see us please say HI.

Thanks everyone who checked and persisted! I admit, I only checked once but mostly I cruised on the coattails of this thread and waited to hear news of the ressies opening. And, I sorta gave up hope and expected official word of closure/ rehab.

Thanks again. I got my 2/25 ressie! I've never done this, but enjoyed the view from nearby the terrace last time.

Best of luck and pixie dust to those hopping on for March and April!

Bring on the yummies!!

Awesome and most helpful thread! We just booked Sunday February 24th for DH and me to celebrate the Princess Half Marathon! It will be our first ever dessert party as we have never been able to score ressies before. :goodvibes:thumbsup2:banana:

Could this be right -- February 14th is already sold out?? I also heard Wishes is at 8:00 pm instead of 9:00 pm??

I looks like it will let you book 3 for February 14th but not 2. I know that the phone waits have been very lengthy since the new website went up, but you might want to give them a call to book. I've heard of people doing the "phantom baby" booking where they add a child under 3 to be able to book it but not pay. I'm not sure I would do that, but I've heard that it works.

Also, according to the Disney website, Wishes is at 8pm that night and the park closes at 8pm so we booked the day before for 7pm so that we could have an hour to enjoy treats and sitting before Wishes.

GOOD LUCK!!

I'm already booked for that date -- my friend and her family staying off-site was considering joining us.

I just made my reservation for the 24th and am running the PHM as well! See you there! :cool1:

Subscribing. Not until May, but thought I should get a jump on it since we'll be a party of 8.

Subscribing. We are going in June and still up in the air about if we are going to book this or not. It seems like a really high price for desserts... But we have never done it before. Is the view of the fireworks worth the cost? Im sure there are pics posted on here of the view and dessert tables but I just havnt found them yet ...

Not my review, just one linked in the thread.

My opinion:
First off I will admit I am a dessert fanatic, but I defiantly did not eat enough desserts to be worth what we paid to go. I feel you are paying for the view, the reserved seats and your sanity during fireworks more so than the desserts.

We have stood packed in like a herd of humans in the Hub to watch fireworks and it wasn't comfortable. We paid extra to have some breathing space, eat a snack and enjoy the fireworks from a lovely spot that has a limited number of people.

We look forward to going again this year! The dessert party was one of the highlights of our last trip.

We did it February 2011 and enjoyed it. Although we've been to WDW a dozen times, we hadn't seen Wishes (DD is an early rise). So this was a great way to see it. My daughter still talks about it, so I I guess it made an impression!
