"No One's Gloomy or Complaining"-in DISNEY WORLD!~An 11/12 TR!-*NEW TR Link pg 56!!!*

Mmmmm I could really go for some of that puffed French toast right about now!! That's my favorite part of a CP breakfast. I feel like I have missed out on it for so long since we only ate there for the first time last trip. To think, all those trips I could have had the heaven on a plate that is puffed French toast and I was eating cereal & pop tarts every day instead!

That royal room looks absolutely AMAZING!! I guess I pictured them to be really girly too when they were announced, but they look fantastic. Love that artwork and the genie lamp faucets!

The room looks fabulous. I think you have some of the best pictures I have seen of it to date too.

What a fabulous room! That's why I love Disney so much...attention to detail.

Thank you! I loved that room so much, it was perfect! :thumbsup2

I love your pictures! What a clear blue sky at MK that day! I don't remember ever eating that puffed french toast at CP, I might need to try some next time! I also love the peoplemover, even though it isn't a big e-ticket ride lol Also, thanks for sharing your pictures of the Royal Room. I have never stayed in one, so it is great to see all of those detailed pictures.

Thank you! The puffed french toast is actually in the kids section, so if you don't look there, you won't see it! I didn't try it until my 3rd time at CP I think, because I never knew where it was! :rotfl:

The Peoplemover is one of my favorite Disney rides ever, it's just so perfect!

Glad you liked seeing the Royal Room! I'm glad we stayed there, I didn't want to repeat POR already (we stayed there in 2010) but I just had to stay in one of those rooms! :rotfl2:

Wow, that is a gorgeous room. I love the picture of all the princesses with their princes.

Isn't it pretty? I love all of the pictures of the princesses, just hanging out like they're lifelong friends! :thumbsup2

Wow that room is really pretty:thumbsup2 It's like a princess fantasy come true...

I'm loving your photos of your Crystal Palace Breakfast...I have to finally do that in July (I'm one of the only Disers who hasn't actually done it... ummm I had some issues with the large proportions of the Pooh characters for a bit...especially the large Pink Piglet... but I've had an intervention... and it's all better... so I'm going to make an ADR in January when my window opens...:thumbsup2)

Isn't BTMR the best? It's a little corny but I'll always love it...

I took that same little photo of Dumbo...:goodvibes

Nice photo op with Marie... I'm not sure but I don't think she's in France at Epcot anymore...

Thanks! It really did feel like we were in the guest room of a princess, that room could have just as easily been in Cinderella's Castle! :thumbsup2

Haha, that's too funny! Yeah I guess the Pooh characters are a bit large, but they're so cute! :rotfl: I love CP, everything is usually really good, we just happened to get someone who didn't know how to make omelets that morning!

I love BTMRR, it is a bit corny, but it reminds me of my childhood trips! :cutie:

Thanks! No, Marie is not in France anymore! :( I'm glad you can still meet her somewhere, but I liked her in France! Oh well!

We had a not so wonderful breakfast at CP a while ago, so th hubs won't go back.. That puffed french toast is to die for though!!!

leaving a park is never fun- but catching a nap was probably the best thing! LOL

Your Royal Room looks Ah-ma-zing!!!!!!!!
I am so in love with it!!!! All the details make it so perfect!!!!! AHHH!!!!! :D :)

We usually love CP! Everything was good except the omelet, the lady just cooked it way too fast and it was just disgusting! They usually have a guy there who is really serious and takes forever cooking whatever you order, but it's always SO good! I guess he was off that day! :rotfl2:

Yeah we definitely needed a nap, we had some big plans later that night! :thumbsup2

Isn't it beautiful? I loved staying there, it was so pretty and perfect! I felt like I was in the middle of a Disney movie! :lovestruc

You went from one gorgeous room to another!!!

I know, 2 princess rooms in one trip! I loved them both, so pretty! :lovestruc

I usually cry during PhilharMagic, too! It's perfect, that's all there is to it.

What could be better than a breakfast full of "THE PUFFED?" Nothing I say, NOTHING!

Oh my goodness... way to make me want to book a stay in a Royal Room right this second! That is absolutely PERFECT!!!!! I'm dying over here. Good Lord. I seriously stared at/examined every picture for like a minute each. This is intense. Love it! Thanks for the great tour!

There are just some parts of Philharmagic that you just can't hold back the tears for, it's just not possible! Part of your World and the Lion King parts always get me! In fact, I can't watch the Lion King without crying like a baby, and I'm not even talking about the part with Mufasa, just the songs are so perfect and emotional! :cool1:

I KNOW! I love that puffed french toast, it's SO good!!! :worship: I wonder if there is a recipe online...hmmm...

You should totally stay in a royal room, it is amazing!!! It was seriously like being in a fairytale for a week, it was perfect! :lovestruc

We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Peoplemover, too !!! We call it the blue train and sometimes we will stay and ride it again. I just love it !!

Wow, you Royal room was amazing !!! Did you have the fireworks in the headboard ?? It seems like I read somewhere that there is a firework effect on the headboards .....

YES the Peoplemover is amazing! I've never asked to stay on for a 2nd time, but I would love to! Maybe I will if it's late at night and not too many people are waiting, I'm always too nervous to ask! :rotfl:

It was amazing! We did have fireworks in the headboard, there is a little button on the side that you push and the whole headboard lights up, it's fantastic! :lovestruc It was such a beautiful room!

I have decided it is impossible to find the perfect "Disney" shoe! If you do find it, will you PLEASE let me know!

Puffed French Toast = :cloud9: Yum!

Your room is gorgeous! So well themed! I think you stayed in the two prettiest rooms on property! Love it!

Haha, well, I do love my Crocs, but even those get annoying after a while! I just don't think it's possible to find the perfect Disney shoe, I don't think it exists! The best I can hope for is finding shoes comfortable enough to last a few hours before I have to alternate! :confused3

Isn't that room beautiful? I loved it! Loved being in 2 princess rooms on one trip! :lovestruc

I'm all caught up now!
Sounds like a great morning in MK, I love the People Mover too!
OMG your royal room is absolutely perfect! So adorable! I can't decide if my favourite thing is Carpet or the lamp taps or maybe the headboards. It's all so magical!

Yay! It was a fantastic morning in MK! The Peoplemover is amazing, I could probably stay on it for hours if they'd let me! :worship:

Isn't it perfect? I know, I loved the little carpet...and the headboard, and the genie lamp!! Ahhh all of it was amazing! :thumbsup2

Yay for breakfast at CP!!! Love the Puffed French Toast! :thumbsup2

Your Royal Room looks AWESOME!!! LOVE the genie faucets! The attention to detail really is amazing!

I love CP, every time I say we're going to skip it on a trip, we end up there anyway, it's just so good! And I love the Pooh characters!

One of my favorite things about that room was the genie faucet! It's just so perfect, I loved all of the cute little details they put in there! :thumbsup2

Haha, well, I just discovered the puffed French toast not too long ago too, I didn't realize it was in the kids section! :rotfl2: It's so good, I really want to learn how to make it myself!

I know, I'm happy they made the royal rooms kind of dark, but princessy at the same time, so boys/men would like them too! I was nervous Brandon would hate it but he really liked it, he didn't think it was too girly at all! :thumbsup2 Aren't the genie faucets adorable? :cool1:

The room looks fabulous. I think you have some of the best pictures I have seen of it to date too.

Thank you! :thumbsup2 I have so many more pictures of that room, but I didn't want to put too many up, I seriously took a picture of every single little thing in there! :rotfl2:

Wow, I have to say, I'm very jealous of your luck with resorts on this trip! I absolutely loved your AoA room, but I think the royal rooms are even better. Makes me want to take a girl's trip and stay in one of them! :goodvibes I especially like the wallpaper border and the the carriage-themed coat hanger. Those are brilliant! I agree, they need to sell those in the gift shops; they'd make a fortune!

Sorry about the omelet at CP being a letdown, at least the puffed french toast didn't disapoint!

Great updates, Jen. Glad you got to walk right onto Peter Pan with your FP and that you were able to walk into Philharmagic just as the theater opened.

I'm with you...I could go to CP JUST for the puffed french toast and told Mark that's all I'm having next year. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Your room at POR is beautiful. I had seen pictures of the beds, headboard, etc., but not all the pictures on the wall, the faucet, etc. Very nice.

Happy New Year to you and Brandon.

To hoping 2013 is a wonderful year and brings many more magical moments (and Disney trips)!

Love the pictures of the Royal Room! I just love the story behind that place. And the faucets are seriously the coolest things ever. Oh, how I wish to stay there someday :goodvibes

Hi! I have been soooo absent from the DIS...blame the post-Disney trip blues (yes, still lingering from our Oct trip :sad1:) and the holidays but just decided I needed a dose of Disney today. I hopped back on and found your new TR! That cheered me up instantly!!

Great report so far!! Happy New Year:goodvibes

Haha, thanks! I loved the royal room, it would be a great room for a girl's trip! Isn't that coat hanger awesome?

That's ok, there are so many other yummy things at CP, it didn't really matter that the omelet wasn't that great!

Thanks! Yeah, we had some great timing that morning, hardly any waiting! :thumbsup2

I know, the puffed french toast is the best!

Thanks! I tried to take tons of pictures, just in case some people haven't seen all of the adorable details of the room yet!

Thank! Happy New Year to you and your family! :goodvibes

Happy New Year! Hope you finally get back to Disney sometime this year!

Aren't the royal rooms so cute? I love the faucets! Everything in that room was amazing! :worship:

Hi! Awww, don't worry, I still have the post Disney blues too, and I'm going back next month! I'm going to be a mess after my Feb. trip, not knowing exactly when I'll be going back!

Glad you're enjoying the TR! Happy New Year! :cool1:

FINALLY Time for a Margarita!

Friday, November 9, Part 4

We left off with Brandon and I going back to our lovely new royal room at POR to nap for a little while. As exhausted as I was from such an early morning, I didn't really nap that much, maybe 30 minutes. I think I was anxious to get to the next park of the day...Epcot!

So I got up and got ready, and then made Brandon get up and get ready and before I knew it, we were ready to go to Epcot!

I took a picture of our view from right outside of our door on the way to the car:

IMG_1558.jpg

Not too bad! I love the moderate resorts, but I really miss the balconies at the deluxes! Apparently I've become somewhat of a deluxe snob...:rolleyes1 No, just kidding! I love all of the Disney resorts equally! Except for the Wilderness Lodge and the Beach Club...which just happen to be deluxes...

Anyway, one of the awesome things about POR is how close it is to Epcot, it's seriously maybe a 30 second drive! We parked and walked to the entrance, where I noticed new Christmas decorations that weren't there the night before:

P1000215.jpg

Brandon made fun of me for taking a picture of that, but I don't care, I thought it was cute, a huge World ornament!

We were supposed to go right to the World Showcase for more Food and Wine, but we stopped for a Photopass picture along the way:

P1000218.jpg

When we were finished taking our picture and started walking closer to Spaceship Earth, Brandon noticed something waaaaay on the top of it...he said it was a hawk and I didn't believe him. So he took the camera and zoomed in as much as he possibly could and...

P1000220.jpg

it WAS a hawk! How he saw that, I don't know, but he has obnoxiously good eyesight! :rotfl:

He stayed to look at it as I walked up ahead a little, and once he caught up with me, he told me he was trying to take pictures of me from behind, looking at Spaceship Earth, but people kept getting in the way, so I tried to just stand there, with my back to him for a few minutes so he could take a picture, but they all came out terrible!

P1000221.jpg

See? Awful! I don't know how hard it is to take a picture of someone from behind, but he was having such a difficult time with it! Finally he made me stand in front of the Fountain and got a decent shot:

P1000225.jpg

and then I had to take one of the sun and the Fountain, just because it looked so beautiful:

P1000226.jpg

Once all of that drama was over (and I say drama because you should have seen how many pictures of me he took in front of Spaceship Earth! :rotfl2:) we were finally on our way to the World Showcase!

When we got there, the first thing I wanted to do was get a margarita from La Cava! If you have read any of my past TR's, you know how obsessed I am with this place! And how I missed out on getting one in May because of my near death experience with the heat! So we headed into Mexico...and left empty handed! The line was ridiculous and I just didn't feel like waiting! So on our way out, I decided to try something new, something I've always wanted...

IMG_1562.jpg

The Fiesta Margarita! :dance3: I always see people drinking these in the WS and I always think they look so pretty and festive, and even though I don't really like frozen margaritas all that much, I decided to give it a try! Unfortunately, I didn't like the bottom layer at all, which was mango, but the other 2 layers were awesome! And there definitely was not enough salt on that cup..I need lots of salt with my margaritas! So even though it wasn't as good as a La Cava margarita, it was still pretty yummy! A good substitute when the line at La Cava is too long!

Finally we were ready to hit the Food and Wine booths, we had an ADR that night, but not til much later, so we wanted a few things from the booths to snack on! I stopped in China and got the pork potstickers, which were pretty good:

IMG_1563.jpg

Then we stopped in South Africa and Brandon got a Spinach and Paneer Cheese Pocket, and apparently a beer somewhere along the way:

IMG_1564.jpg

I tried the pocket, it was really good, even though it looked kind of plain! It made me wish I got my own, but I had other places in mind! Once Brandon was finished with his pocket, we headed over to my destination, enjoying the absolutely stunning view along the way!

P1000229.jpg

:lovestruc I cannot WAIT to see you again, World Showcase! 47 DAYS! :hyper:

Up next-a little more Food and Wine, a LONG walk, and a late ADR!

I am not a mango fan either. So last time I got a Fiesta Margarita I asked them to leave it out and just the lime and strawberry were AMAZING !!

Brandon's eyesight really is impressive!!! :thumbsup2 That hawk found an awesome place to hang out!

Oh boy...the Fiesta Margaritas are a bit too much fun for me! They are an impressively pretty drink though!

We liked the spinach and paneer pocket too! Its exterior definitely is deceiving, the inside is great!

Oh My! Brandons eyesight is awesome for him to see that! LOL

That fiesta margarita looks yummy!!!

I'm so jealous you get to go back so soon!!!!! :)

Wow, I didn't realize how close POR was to Epcot! That's awesome! I mean... you're making this place more and more appealing to me! Hahaha.

WOAH. How cool that he spotted that hawk on SE! Hahah. If I would have seen that I probably would have flipped out and thought it was super cool. I'm weird.

I love all these World Showcase pictures! SIGH!!!

I don't like Margaritas at all, but I must say that the one you got looks awfully tasty.

Too funny about Brandon being unable to take a photo of you walking ahead of him.

And what a good eye he has to catch that hawk...I've never seen one in Epcot before.

I don't know how many pictures Brandon took in front of Spaceship Earth...but those are quite lovely... very artistic...:goodvibes

I do have to say seeing the hawk is pretty cool... and it's cool to see how those pieces all fit together on the top of Spaceship Earth...:thumbsup2

Margaritas are yum...:goodvibes

A long line at the Ditch? :faint: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Not a big fan of frozen ritas, but they will definitely do in a pinch.

Anyho - I missed your update last night and now I can't see any pics, so I shall return.

Funny that Brandon saw that Hawk and yes - I love how close POR is to Epcot!

Yippee another fantastic update! The hawk photo was pretty cool!

Oh and that margarita does look yummy. We missed out on LaCava during our last trip...in fact we missed out on the whole World Showcase! All the more reason to go back in three weeks! At least if there is a line, we have options now! :)

They say once you go deluxe you can't go back… I think it's true! I've become a bit of a deluxe snob lately myself - they are just so much better! That marg looks pretty tasty, and I do like mango… And your DH's eyesight is pretty amazing to spot that hawk!
